Nice quiet retreat in the outskirts of Bhaktapur - just of the road from dust and noise. Friendly clean cosy hotel run by an amazing family, who will be there for you under your stay. Friendly staff, good food - and a beautiful view of the city from the restaurant terrasse.

Large quiet rooms close to the historic old part of Bhaktapur (probably a 20 minute walk). The hotel provides shuttle service to and from the town, which probably takes 10 minutes with traffic. Shree is the owner/manager and also runs a trekking company. I have not used his trekking company, but have talked with other guests who have and they all had good experiences. The hotel is up on a hill, so the upstairs dining/drinking area provides a good view of the town. Breakfast was great and the service was always delivered with a smile.

We had already stayed at this hotel in March 2017. We were happy to find it again for two nights. It is a little outside the city (15 to 20' walk to the entrance to the historic center) but high up, which gives an incredible view of Bhaktapur and the mountains (if they are clear)We enjoyed also the warm welcome from all the staff, the kindness and responsiveness of the owner whom we learned during this stay had a tourist agency. Note the calm, the possibility of walking in the forest behind the hotel, of seeing an active temple nearby. The city of Bhaktapur is magnificent.

Bhaktapur Paradise is one of a kind. It has beautiful architecture, lovely rooms, a great terrace restaurant, and most of all wonderful people. I never slept better, I felt so at home.

This was my third time going to Nepal and staying at the Bhaktapur paradise hotel. Everyone here has become like family. I would highly recommend this place. You wont get the views or level of service anywhere else. The breakfast you get served in the morning is better than any breakfast that you would get at a 5 star hotel. Everything is always freshly cooked. The menu is extensive and they can make you just about anything. Shree the owner of the hotel also runs a trekking company "itrek Nepal" He has organized several treks for me including climbing 3 different peaks. If there is something you want to do or know about Nepal, he is your guy! I highly recommend this place!

I stayed at paradise hotel before and after my trek. Shree and his family are very accommodating and hospitable, their staff are kind, helpful and will go above and beyond - the food is also delicious! Shree can arrange anything you need in Nepal, whether it be about trekking, sightseeing, shopping and even how to get medical attention if required. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend paradise hotel if you are visiting Kathmandu.

I had the privilege of staying at Bhaktapur Paradise before and after my Everest Base Camp Trek that I took with the hotel owner, Shree’s, trekking company, iTrekNepal. My room was spacious, clean, well stocked, and offered an extremely comfortable bed. The views of Kathmandu from my private balcony were absolutely to die for. The best part about the hotel might have to be the food. Everything from breakfast through dinner is prepared by their incredible staff and so delicious. My favorites from their menu would have to be the Nepali pizza and the chicken momo. As mentioned, the staff is absolutely lovely and they, combined with Shree’s family who also live at the hotel, made my stay extremely comfortable and lovely. I felt so well taken care of the entire time and would recommend Bhaktapur paradise to anyone interested in visiting Nepal!

This was my first time staying here, after being introduced by a friend. It's on a hill in the suburbs, so at first I was worried whether there was a hotel there, but I was able to relax in a quiet environment. The view from the restaurant was especially wonderful, overlooking the ancient city of Bhaktapur. I never get tired of looking at it, morning, noon, or night. I was able to enjoy my meals at a leisurely pace in a homely a**osphere. The staff were all very kind. I'd like to go again!
