(1) The Hampton "suite" was booked for two guests, but was furnished with just one chair. Are we supposed to sit on each other's lap? (2) The mid-room desk (room 203) has no lighting, i.e., zero! No hanging ceiling fixture (like in the web site pictures), and no desk lamp of any kind. So no work can be done at the desk. None! (3) There's a sofa but no ottoman, as shown in the promotional pictures...so no way to rest one's feet. (4) There's no folding luggage rack, which would normally be tucked into the closet for guest use. So we had to lay our suitcase on the floor, not great when you're "of a certain age." (5) Promotional photos show a lamp and small table at each end of the sofa, suitable for two guest to sit and read. Not here! The room has one light, and one table, at one end of the sofa. At the other end, where does a guest put down a glass, or a book? Check out the web site photos to see what SHOULD be there. Those are the major problems, although more could be described. Truly sad!

First time we stayed here at Hampton Inn North Harrisburg PA. Loved it on 5/18/24. The crew at check in was amazing around 6PM and Nathan went above and beyond to help me and my spouse get settled into our room! I can’t remember the name of the other two ladies that were working the desk but they were also outstanding. Very clean, pet friendly! Breakfast was great!! The team they have working there obviously have an amazing manager / leader! They were so accommodating to us. We felt special! Way to provide outstanding customer service!

I booked a King Suite. When I got there I was told I had a standard 2 queen room. I specifically booked a King to have more bed space as I am pregnant. When I told them this they apologized and said there was a leak in one of the king rooms and they were completely booked so they couldn’t give me another room. Then said they could comp me a beer. I again said I’m pregnant. So they said they’d give my fiancé 2 beers when the bar opens. We had plans to attend a concert so we wouldn’t be there the whole time the bar was open. The man behind the counter said he’d give him one beer now. That was it, that was the only compensation they would offer us. Once we got to our non suite queen room, it was like they didn’t finish cleaning. There were drinking left in the fridge from the previous people and there was hair and dirt in the bottom of the tub. When I went back down to talk to someone at the desk all I got was a “we can’t really do anything about it.” Definitely not the Hilton stay I’m used to.

The Hotel was ok. I’m usually not the person who leaves a bad review but under these circumstances I have no choice. Check in was normal, the room was average. We had no heat and the window shades were broken so we couldn’t shut the shades to block out the daylight. Between being cold and struggling to sleep once the sun came up it was impossible to rest. It was a miserable stay never again !

Staff was kind, and courteous. Breakfast was yummy, and well attended. We stayed 4 nights, room was never cleaned, towels piled up as we had to request more. They then ran out of clean towels. I’d guess cause no rooms were cleaned and the entire place was packed. At no time did we or any of our friends in different rooms on different floors have HOT WATER of any kind. Every night, and morning we were lucky to have Luke warm water at best. Which would then only last 2-3 mins tops. After spending long days with animals at farmshow, EVERYONE needed a bath, very disappointed. 🙁
