The hotel was clean and I like the soap and shampoo dispensers. They have a blow dryer there too. The double Queen room felt a little small but it was fine. My parents, who also stayed here, had part of the ceiling fall down and water dripped to the floor. We told the unpleasant boy at the front desk but he was not apologetic and did not offer any money off. The girls that run the breakfast bar were awesome and conscientious. They kept the bar clean and stocked. The maintenance man in the evening was very nice and he helped us get rid of garbage. Overall, minus the falling ceiling, it was nice.

I recently had a disappointing experience at this hotel that has led me to decide against returning. I had pre-paid for my room through Priceline, which advertised a spa tub as part of the amenities. However, upon checking in on Labor Day evening, I was informed by the front desk employee that my room did not include a spa tub. The hotel was practically empty, with only a few cars in the parking lot, so I thought it would be reasonable to ask if I could pay the difference to upgrade to a room with a spa tub. The employee's response was unhelpful and dismissive, as he stated that since the room was prepaid, no changes could be made, even though I was more than willing to pay the additional $29 difference. Given the circumstances, I found this response quite frustrating and felt that it reflected poorly on the hotel's customer service. I decided to leave and seek accommodation elsewhere, but unfortunately, the hotel refused to refund any of the prepaid amount. The employee’s attitude only added to the negative experience, and it was clear that they were not interested in accommodating or resolving the issue in a customer-friendly manner. I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past, but this experience has left me with no desire to return. The lack of flexibility and the poor customer service have overshadowed any previous positive experiences which were already a few and far in between.

Very happy we chose this hotel to stay at. We are building a home nearby and this hotel was a perfect place to rest. Very clean, very reasonably priced and we appreciated the free breakfast. Would definitely recommend. The beds were very comfortable too!!

The reviews of late really had us almost cancel our stay. My family of 5 (wife, three teen daughters) were just looking for a place to stay over a long weekend where we could basically sleep, shower, and spend most of our time at the beach and shops. Not wanting to drop $350/night for a room we would barely be in, this place was perfect. I can only speak to room 112. It was clean and cleaned daily by a wonderful young lady. Shower was a bit dated and so was the refrigerator, but neither of them would have warranted a complaint. We did have a dirty blanket on one of the beds which our cleaning lady noticed and immediately changed out. Every employee we interacted with was polite and helpful. When you see that this hotel is much cheaper than almost everything else, you know concessions will need to be made. And in my opinion, this was the breakfast. Toast, bagels, muffins, juice/coffee/tea... that's it. But again, nothing stated anywhere there would be more. I am glad we didn't cancel and took the risk against the reviews. All I can say is lower your expectations, enjoy the location, and request room 112... it was nice.

We needed to get away after the bad weather. Lewes is a great little town to visit but a lot of things are only open during the season. We wanted a reasonable price motel with breakfast. Our room had 2 double beds with microwave, refrig. and coffee maker. The bathroom had a walk in shower with the usual toiletries. Breakfast was very good in that we had cereals, waffles, eggs, bacon and sausage. It's nice that the motels have returned breakfast after the Covid restrictions. The view from our room was the parking lot and a retirement village. But you are not there for the view.

Location is great ! Parking was plentiful . The pool looked very nice and clean . Booked a room for two nights. Confirmation email said it was a smoking room. I immediately called and asked for a non - smoking room. Gentleman happily changed rooms, but said it was the only non-smoking room left for our visit. We arrived at 3:00 p.m. and they allowed us to check in early since the room was ready. The room smelled horribly of smoke and was seriously dated with old, dirty carpet and desperately in need of new paint. The room was a good size, but everything about it was old and dated. I booked our reservations online and they were non-refundable. We only stayed one of the two nights I paid for, as I was not staying another night in that room. I paid for breakfast for two morning, expecting a hot breakfast, but it was just a continental breakfast.
