Construction meant no pool, tacky look and workers shouting to one another. Staff seemed disgruntled by something (construction). Previous stays, we’d been warmly welcomed. This time, I felt like unwelcome intruders. When we got to room, we found former guests dirty socks left in drawer. Just lacklustre in every way.

The hotel was under construction so it was not at its best. My room had pictures that were supposed to be on the wall laying on thr floor. Overall good value for thr price

I treated myself to the honeymoon suite to enjoy the fireplace and soaking tub after a long day of sightseeing. This is a very clean and well-appointed hotel with friendly staff. The honeymoon suite is large, with a nice sitting area by the fireplace and tv, a good size bathroom and small kitchenette in addition to the soaking tub. The windows open up, which was nice to hear the birds in the morning. Nice natural light and lovely grounds with blooming trees and lilacs- you can tell they put a lot of care into it. Breakfast had many options, both hot and cold, and fortified me for setting off on my next adventure.

Hotel was under construction which we were not aware of when booking. Had to switch rooms as the toilet was broken in the first room but the staff were very helpful.

In the hotel description it claimed there was a pool in the facility, to our disapointment there was not. The false promotion of a pool and the unfriendly staff left a discomforting and ungreeting feeling when entering our room fpr the evening. The constant power flickering and noisy halls was enough to not book again.
