Hotel Ærø

What a lovely hotel. Classy and old with character but efficient. Super helpful staff. Breakfast was well worth it. Great location. Our room had two double beds. Def 10/10

The people are very friendly and the room was nice. Great location near the train to Copenhagen (5 minutes walk) and the ferry (1 minute walk)

We stayed 2 nights with a large group of friends enjoying a special birthday celebration in Svendborg, and we had such a great time. The hotel couldn’t be any closer to the ferry / harbour, and although the bathrooms could benefit from modernisation, the bedrooms themselves are comfortable & quiet. The breakfast buffet was very good, and the dinner we enjoyed each night was terrific. The service throughout was warm, friendly & efficient - special thanks to Lisa for ensuring our large ( 45 person ) dinner party went smoothly.

A good hotel, room clean and adequate, a bit outdated probably and you need to like sneaking through corridors and over stairs to find your room (back). Breakfast really well done, nice assortiment and fresh produce. The restaurant is also good, not super, I have eaten better steaks. Svendborg downtown is busy due to the ferries, we liked it, but can be annoying.

The customer service was excellent- from the arrival to the departure every person we spoke to was extremely helpful and kind. The rooms were huge and spacious- our party of 4 really only needed one room if we knew the size but had two rooms and it was ample space. The location was great, walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. The rooms are charming and beds comfortable (although soft). Would recommend and stay here again.

Staff were wonderful. Breakfast was excellent. Small older rooms with renovated bathrooms. We just used the rooms to sleep in and spent most of our time sightseeing. But when back we spent lots of time relaxing in the large and comfortable reception area.

Well we didn't get off to a great start because l was desperate for a cup of tea and they didn't have any English breakfast tea bags! However, the staff were so pleasant l was prepared to over look this.I would like to give a shout out to Lisa who was particularly helpful and efficient. We loved Svendborg and thought it well worth a visit, but if we did ever go back l would prefer to be in the main hotel, if you have any problems with mobility or you are short of puff make sure you are not booked in across the road because getting to our room was something of a convoluted route, also beware of the feet of the bed in room 112(l think it was) is a trip hazard.All this said l liked hotel Aero and the food and the staff.
