My mother, who is 84, and I visited the reception desk of this motel on Sunday night, enquiring about room availability for three nights. Upon asking if we could first inspect the room we were informed, and I quote, that “um, sorry but no, I don’t do that any more, because people look at the room and just walk out”. All I can say is if an establishment is not prepared to allow a prospective guest to inspect a room there must be something to hide. We went across the road to another motel where we were cheerfully permitted to inspect the room which we immediately booked for the duration of our stay.

We stayed here for one night while passing through. The guy at check in was very friendly and helpful. The villa was unique. Having a separate living area was nice. The only issue I had was the step down into the bathroom in the middle of the night. It caught me by surprise.

We stayed for one night only as just passing through. There were two double beds in the room so not much room for cases etc. The owners appeared to be in the process of upgrading the rooms as ours had fresh paint on the walls but had missed the ceiling plus there was a new smart tv. Bed was comfortable. Good shower in the bathroom. There is only a kettle and microwave in the small kitchen area with no sink however a large bowl and dish washing liquid is provided if you feel like doing dishes. We didn’t use any cooling but it was on older unit installed next to the front door. A small oil heater was supplied for heating. The motel is on a busy main road so lots of traffic noise through the night.

This motel has very hospitable owners - they are friendly and accommodating. There’s a big leafy courtyard with tables and chairs, a pool with floating toys, and pets are allowed. It is nothing fancy, but does have all basic needs, including breakfast to your room. Good location - handy to shops and cafes.

Nice stay, room was clean with basic kitchen needs. Undercover parking just outside the rooms (which I think is normal for motels?) The only real negatives was that the pool wasn't heated, and the motel is just off a main road so can be quite busy at all hours. Nevertheless, we will be back on our next trip to bundy.
