Nice hotel friendly

It is located outside the city center so it's more suitable for guests with cars. There are plenty of car parks outside the hotel.
I didn't drive and had to either take a walk or the bus to the city center. It's a 20 minute walk along the promenade of Harbour Tennant to the restaurants and pubs at Wind Street. The city center was only another 10 minutes away.
The room was very clean and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. I'd have no hesitation to stay in there again.

I recently hosted a colleague's 50th birthday bash at the hotel, and I cannot praise the events team enough. They were absolutely spectacular. Despite having just one week to plan everything, their high level of communication made the entire process smooth and stress-free. On the day of the event, they went above and beyond, assisting with additional tasks that were not part of our contract. For instance, one of the staff members even helped me write down placards. Their dedication and support were truly exceptional. I would highly recommend this hotel for any event planning needs.

Lovely hotel as I remember it from many years ago. Only reason it didn’t get 5 star, ironing board was in pieces and unusable & occasionally you’d have to wait at the bar for drinks as the staff disappear. Overall I loved my stay. Great location to the city centre & Marina

It was a good stay but as I am allergic to caffeine I was disappointed that there was no decaf tea available luckily I did bring some but not enough. And first hotel we have stopped in that didn’t have biscuits on tray in the room. And breakfast on Saturday morning wasn’t very warm but much better on Sunday. But I suppose we can’t have everything
There were Cobwebs under picture on the wall in dining room.

The hotel is in need of a upgrade. The rooms are tired and so are the communial areas.
Rooms in the top floor have issues with damp.
The staff do an amazing job and were superhelpfull at every turn. Property lets everything down.

The staff at the hotel were friendly, they up graded us for being newly weds. Not far from the city centre as taxi was cheap enough.
