Swords Hotels with Breakfast

We stayed 2 nights, arriving by rental car at 4 PM and temporarily parking in front. A pleasant receptionist took my card payment and provided a key card. After moving our car to the free Premier lot in the back, we took an elevator to the 1st floor. Room #125 was spacious and carpeted, opening to a nice bathroom with liquid soaps, 7 second hot water, towel warmer and a big stall shower, then a comfortable queen, an easy chair, a desk unit with chair, small TV(excellent reception of 40+ channels with a guide) and hot pot(coffee/tea) and an open closet. (There was room for a table and 2nd easy chair.) The open room WIFI was good, 5 outlets, good lighting and a wall thermostat. An insulated window partially opened to a view of the hotel parking garage and green fields beyond. A Subway next door and a Tesco Superstore 1 km east. This 213 room hotel with a nice restaurant makes a comfortable overnight for the DUB Airport 3 km south.

We needed a pet friendly hotel in order to be at the airport in time and the travel lodge fit the bill. Room was spacious and clean. Linen fresh and white. Very basic but fit for purpose. Staff all very friendly. Didn’t eat at restaurant but plenty of cafes within 10-15 minute walk. Taxi to airport was between 12-20 euro.

Lovely place. Clean and quaint. Very nice restaurant/bar area and nice rooms. No hot water in the morning in one of the rooms however. Good parking. Next to golf club in the countryside so nice fresh air.

We stayed here after a long flight into Dublin Airport and were surprised how close it is to the airport! Less than 10 minute drive to a lovely little town with many nice restaurants and bars. You can also drive into Malahide in less than 10 minute too. The hotel itself was lovely with a large room and nice bathroom. The staff were very friendly and there is parking at the hotel. There is a bar on site so it can be a little loud but there wasn’t noise too late at night so I wouldn’t let this put anyone off staying here
