Splendid structure in the center of historic Salocomaggiore. Nothing to say about the room, cleanliness, welcome kit, reception, breakfast, bar, restaurant and wifi. However, some aspects need to be improved. The SPA is splendid, but it is limited - an hour and a half - and in some moments it is not possible to extend your stay in any way, even just in the relaxation area or by the pool. In fact, the package only included the "timed" route, but there is no indication in any way of the impossibility of staying, even without using saunas or whirlpools, which should instead be indicated. In the rooms there is no possibility of using either SKY services or other platforms such as Netflix, as the television is not a smart one; I recommend updating the offer as other hotels in the area offer this service.

They welcomed us like a big family, making us feel at home straight away. The children always felt at home while respecting the rules. Cleaning???? Fantastic.... Excellent cuisine and service always available.... this hotel is flawless. We have already rebooked for the weekend of May 1st. Wow price.

Fascinating structure. Due to our commi**ents, we were only able to enjoy the comfort of the room and the quality of the breakfast. However, we can say that we had a wonderful rest, silence (despite being on the ground floor) and fabulous mattresses. Excellent breakfast in terms of quality and variety.... table service needs to be improved "a little". Excellent assistance from the Receptionists.

Location, room, cleanliness of a high standard but some unpleasant surprises. 1) Good breakfast, normal but not like a 5 star hotel 2) The SPA: located in the basement includes a not very large swimming pool, two hydromassage tubs, sauna, Turkish bath, relaxation room. If you have booked a room in the hotel you can only stay for 1 hour and 30 minutes!!! but why? if you decide to stay another hour and 30 you pay 40 euros per person!!! but why? if you decide to stay all day you have to pay 80 euros per person!!! Is it really a 5 star hotel? Obviously these things are not explained either on the Booking booking site or on the Hotel site, but only once you arrive at the Hotel and with the room already paid for. Disappointed, sorry I won't be back.

I am very sorry to have to share such a review but it is necessary. I don't understand how it is possible to read such enthusiastic reviews given my experience with the Spa of this wonderful hotel but given the expense (€260) it seems necessary to point it out. I purchased a personalized couples massage with Argan oil (€180) plus 2 90min entrances to the spa (€80). I'll start by saying that they didn't ask about personalization either at the reception or in the cabin, the massage in my case was just a rub without a minimum of pressure rather than a massage with a minimum of attention, no relaxation, very little oil used and in different zone wasn't applied at all, I couldn't wait for it to be over! I have never had a sloppier massage in my life while my partner with the other operator says that hers wasn't that terrible but still nothing to write home about. We move on to the Spa hoping to recover some relaxation but most of the areas had no music or heating so it was really annoying to walk around the totally wet rooms without wearing a bathrobe, let alone if you were able to relax on the sunbeds in the designated ones. areas. The two hydromassage tubs in my opinion had uncomfortable seats and ineffective water jets while in the two saunas there was no possibility of using water on the braziers at all, another thing that had never happened to me before, last but not least in the bathrooms of the women, 2 out of 3 sinks were not working and the showers were completely open without a minimum of privacy! For the Turkish bath, emotional showers and Kneip path, nothing to complain about and for the beauty of the structure, however, truly compliments. Discreet and kind staff, the girl at the reception also offered us to stay an extra half hour in the spa given the poor massage but in reality we left even 15 minutes before the end of the 90 minutes booked because it was really annoying to stay any longer due to the cold. Overall, the worst spa and massage experience I've ever had.

Spa day at the grand hotel... I went there with my husband on the occasion of our anniversary, a wonderful and special experience. Courtesy and professionalism from all the hotel staff, the spa complete with everything you need to spend a few hours of well-being and relaxation. Structure with great attention to every detail and very clean. The spare room they left us for the entire afternoon was very comfortable and appreciated. We hope to be able to return soon... Highly recommended!!
