Smile Hotel Sendai Tagajyo

I was satisfied.

It was a very clean and spacious hotel. I was able to stay here for a very reasonable price. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity to go again next time.

The hotel was clean and the hospitality was good.

とても快適に過ごせました。ベッドも広くてよかったです。

壁が薄く夜中足音やくしゃみ、シャワーの音が響き渡って眠れませんでした。まさか上からの物音がこんなに響くとは驚きでした。食事は数が少ないものの極ヨーグルトが美味しかったです。お風呂場は小さめで朝は入れないのが残念でした。

The large public bath has only four washing areas and is small considering the size of the hotel, but I'm grateful that it has one. After checking in, I took a bath in the large public bath and refreshed myself, then I went to the bathroom in my room and relaxed in the hot water. I really liked it. The bathroom has a window, so I turned off the lights and half-opened the blinds, even though I was worried that people would see me in from outside. It would be nice to shower or bathe in bright natural light in the morning. The light was coming in through the bathroom door into the sink and toilet space, which was nice. It would have been even better if there was a sliding door between the sink and toilet. The refrigerator was not turned on when I arrived, so it was not cold. I turned it on from there, but it was not very cold by morning. It was a twin room, but the room was full with just the bed. The door opens to the hallway, and when you open the door, you're at the foot of the bed. There is no space to hang clothes, so you hang them on a hook on the wall. The breakfast was quite disappointing in terms of content. Frozen mini omelettes? The grilled fish fillets looked dried out and didn't look appetizing at all. It was cold, probably because it was late. There are many business hotels these days that offer free breakfast (although the breakfast is included in the room rate), and they are definitely tastier. Only the rice was tasty. There was no zunda mochi or sasa kamaboko, which I had seen in reviews. The room rate was cheap, so 700 yen for this disappointing breakfast seemed expensive. Next time, I'll skip breakfast and eat elsewhere.
