Upscale hotel with excellent location (next to many higher end shops, the national theater, the city hall, and walking distance to the largest night market in Taiwan), superb service, well appointed room, great breakfast. I would stay here again for sure.

This hotel far exceeded our expectations, especially after coming from a run-down and overpriced hotel in Taipei with our family of four. The room was spacious and comfortably furnished, with a great wet/dry separation – the toilet and shower were separate, which was perfect for our family of four to use without any hassle or waiting. The location is also incredibly convenient, close to Fengjia Night Market and Dayuan Department Store. The hotel staff were clearly well-trained and showed excellent professionalism.

Second time staying at Hung’s Mansion and definitely won’t be the last! Room was spacious, and the bath tub is super comfortable as well, the toilet is definitely the cherry on the cake, it opens automatically when you approach it and there’s a control panel that allows you to control the opening and closing of the toilet lid & seat. This room runs super warm, we had to keep the shade drawn to prevent the outside sun from heating up the room, despite the AC being cranked down to 20 degrees. The view wasn’t the best either (we got a room on the 3rd floor). It was facing another building directly, which was another reason to keep the blinds drawn all the time. Would definitely come back again, hut probably wouldn’t choose this room, will stick with our previous room (Standard Double Room).

This is our second visit to this hotel. Overall, again, the stay was enjoyable. The breakfast was decent, and the staff were friendly. We will come again.
