Hotels in West Central District, Tainan

Great location in the Central West district, with lots of eateries just around the corner and various streets to wander through. It's a 23-minute walk from the station, or you can take a bus (there's no subway). The hotel itself is fine; the bathroom is spacious and clean, and the bed is comfy. It's a nice touch that you can do laundry (detergent is 50), and you can grab coffee and water during the day. They also have various appliances for preparing food. The only minor downside is that you get a traditional key instead of a card, which is a bit less convenient.

We enjoyed our stay at this family friendly hotel. The room was a bit smaller than expected but had all the amenities we could wish for. We enjoyed a separate room for our preschool aged children. The hotel provided an ice cream bar, drinks including beer and juice, late night snacks and of course breakfast. The kids enjoyed the traffic playground a 5 min walk from the hotel.

Fantastic hotel in a very strategic location. Easy access to Tainan's main attractions. Comfy beds and good air con. Overall outstanding value so I stayed here twice. Amazing views especially at night time from the upper floors. Sadly a pretty average brekky spread with cheap ingredients. Keeping the hot food hot would be a great start before they work on improving the dishes.

Staying for one night during a long weekend for $1,800 is indeed a pretty good deal for a business hotel. This time I stayed in room 208. The main pros are that it's clean and the shower head provides really hot water. But!!! The bathroom doesn't have a separate wet and dry area (understandable, as shown in the picture). Even when I tried to squeeze into a 90-degree corner to shower, the drain couldn't cope at all. Water would accumulate significantly before finally draining into the hole under the sink. Luckily, the bath mat hadn't been put down yet, otherwise it would have been soaked. The sink counter is also very short, so water splashes out when you brush your teeth or wash your face, no matter how awkwardly you try to wash up. Next, the mini-fridge had a strong sour smell when opened. It looked clean inside, but the smell was like someone had left their late-night snack in there too long and it wasn't cleaned promptly – it was awful. Then there's the TV. It's great, with lots of new movie options, but the color temperature was completely off. Initially, I thought, with such high ratings and me getting a relatively good deal, maybe I shouldn't be too picky. Later, I realized that the high 'value for money' comments, mentioning cleanliness and tidiness, were based on others paying only $850/night (on weekdays). That pretty much explains the good reviews! Hygiene isn't an issue! But overall, the facilities are seriously subpar. That's all!

The staff were very polite and attentive in answering questions. The room was comfortable and clean. I was a bit surprised by the small gift selection during check-in. There's a common area on the second floor with snacks and drinks available. Overall, it was a great experience! The only minor drawback is the lack of a laundry room, but there's a laundromat a few minutes' walk away, which is still very convenient.

The nightstand had a strong odor that was really pungent and kept wafting into my nose while I was sleeping. I'm guessing it's new, and I hope the hotel can do something to air it out 🤣. Otherwise, the location is excellent, it's clean and tidy, and very convenient for getting around.

This hotel has a pretty good location; you can walk directly from Tainan Station, it's not far at all. The staff here are very kind and lovely. There are complimentary snacks available for all guests in the lobby on the first floor. The staff provided excellent recommendations for everything, including detailed instructions on house rules, how to use the room, and how to operate the hot and cold water system in the room. The bedroom size is just right, and there's a TV. The area around the hotel is a bustling community with many shops. If I have the chance to visit Tainan again, I would definitely stay here. It's really great, highly recommended for anyone planning a trip to Tainan!

First time staying here. The location is great, not far from Guohua Street, and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. The room itself was in good condition, but the only downside was the incredibly tiny sink. The glass shelf above it made it really inconvenient to wash up. Other than that, everything else was good, and they even had a Japanese-style toilet, which is quite rare in most hotels.

This hotel operates on a self-check-in basis with no on-site staff, but their responses via Line were incredibly fast, and they were able to assist with everything promptly. I was also able to leave my luggage after check-out (I was told until 3 PM, which worked perfectly for me). The room size wasn't small for one person and was generally clean. It's conveniently located near Shennong Street and the market. While they stated no amenities were provided, there was shampoo and a towel. Just a heads-up that there was no soap, toothbrush, or toothpaste, so bring your own if you need them.

Damn cute, breakfast was damn good also! It’s a family or child friendly hotel very good for kids although I didn’t go with any kids but my mum. Location is well for shopping mall and accessible to everywhere! Highly recommend!
