Green World Hotel Zhonghua

Due to its strategic location near Ximenting, this hotel commands a price premium. However is it really value for money? Not really. The sound proofing is really bad. We were given rooms at the 3rd floor. You can clearly hear the noise from traffic below and even louder conversations from pedestrians along the street, including a lunatic screaming vulgar curses at the hotel from the ground floor at 2.10am. Supposed to be equipped with laundromats (for a fee) but these were down the three days we were staying there. Breakfast was mostly Chinese selections with toasted bread and pastry choices. Reception was robotic, no smiles, all following an SOP which they don’t deviate from. All your questions have been anticipated so you should be patient and hold them. They will be answered at the end. Honestly no one needs to stay near to Ximenting for the entire trip, with subway and public transport so convenient. And you don’t go there every night so cast your net wider and you have more choices with better service and comfort.

I had a pleasant two-night stay here. The location was very convenient, with easy access to transportation, food, and nearby shopping areas. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were helpful throughout my stay. Overall, a smooth and reliable choice for staying in Taipei.

For over 200 AUD per night, initially I got a room facing the Main Street, the vibration and noise was overwhelming After complaining to the staff, I got a room full of gutter and urine smell (I knew something was off when I saw a weird fan standing in the middle of the room spinning.) I complained to Trip about the misleading rating then ended up got a call from the hotel staff unhappy with me talking to Trip, gave me attitude. Luckily I get to cancel the next day and got the refund, but for anyone who wants to stay, think it twice. Or maybe I was just unlucky, who knows.

Service was good. Room is spacious. However cleanliness can be improved. Bring your own amenities. Only a pair of pillows, not v comfy. Aircon wasn’t working well, quite hot. Hotel corridor area is quite dark. Location is a plus. A big 7-11 just downstairs. Near xmd area as well.

This accommodation is in a very convenient location, in the heart of the city, near the subway station. The rooms are lovely and the beds are comfortable. The only downside is that the elevator is quite slow. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Excellent location opposite popular Ximenteng shopping area. However need to be careful when shower in the bathtub as water drainage is not good, it flows down to the bathroom floor and wet the whole bathroom.

Best choice ever. Muslim friendly which have smart toilet inside every room. Second option after bidet which is quite hard to find here. Spacious bed, clean toilet, high pressure shower, very cold air conditioning system. Freeze like crazy.🥶 Very strategic location. Easy access to walking district, Ximending night market, 7 Eleven just only at the downstairs. Just 10 steps away till the exit/ entry of Ximen Metro Mall. Very near to MRT Ximen Station.

The staff are not good on explaining when asking question dont care to the guest i hope they be more polite and the check in time are 3pm out are 11am which theres no late check out unless u pay more and more and ameneties are incomplete unless u pay more and more money matters in this hotel to add up the buffet are soo bad promise   Be more polite the staff guy old man
