Poshpacker hotel ladies only

I had a comfortable stay. It's about a 10-minute walk from Taipei Main Station, and it was really convenient to have a private room, even if it was small. Overall, it was very clean, and the shower and toilet were perfectly fine. It might be a good idea to bring sandals for the shower. They had a Dyson hairdryer, a heated toilet seat, face masks in the room, and a washing machine, dryer, and microwave on the rooftop. I highly recommend it for solo travelers in Taiwan.

First time staying in a hostel and I was pleasantly surprised! First off, the room. I stayed in a twin room, and it was actually quite spacious, not small at all. You could easily fit two large suitcases in there. The bed was a bit firm and the pillow was thin, but since I was only staying for two nights, it was fine. Then there were the shared bathrooms and showers. These were unexpectedly clean, and the shower water pressure was just right – not fluctuating. Plus, they had Dyson hairdryers! It wasn't crowded, so there were no issues with waiting for the toilet. Overall, I was really satisfied! 👍🏻

The location is super convenient, about a 5-minute walk from Taipei Main Station. As an all-female guest, I felt very safe. You need to check in and get your room card at the main building across the street first. There are two card-access doors before entering the building, which adds to the sense of security. The toilets and showers in the common areas are quite clean, and the front desk is staffed 24/7, so late-night check-ins are no problem!

The location is quite convenient. I stayed for two nights, and after going to other places, I'd always get off at Ximen Station and walk about 10 minutes back to the hotel. There are plenty of convenience stores, bubble tea shops, and restaurants nearby, so finding meals isn't an issue. The bathroom and shower area were reasonably clean, and for my first time staying in this type of accommodation, the experience was pretty good. I was initially worried about constantly bumping into others, which could be awkward, but everyone I encountered was polite and respectful of personal space. There's also a water dispenser and a fridge on the top floor, though I didn't use them myself. I'd definitely consider staying here again for my next solo trip to Taipei. ✨

Great value for money! The room, including the bedding, was clean and a good size for a solo traveler. The shared bathroom shower stall was a bit smaller than expected, and there were some flies, but... I didn't have high hopes for soundproofing based on other reviews, but I had no trouble falling asleep. Recommended for undemanding solo travelers!

I really loved that it was a women-only facility. It was my first time using a shared bathroom, but it was clean and even had feminine hygiene products, which was great. I'll definitely stay here again if I'm traveling alone or with one other person next time.

The female-only rooms are in a separate building, and both the room and bathroom were very clean. It felt quite secure as there are two doors that require card access. The only downside is the poor soundproofing; when doors close nearby, it can be a bit loud. Sometimes, small bugs also find their way into the room. The hotel's location is excellent, about a 10-minute walk to the MRT station and around a 15-minute walk to Ximending, which is very convenient. It's a great choice for solo female travelers.
