Wondertime Taipei Station - Hankou Ladies Hostel

A great choice for a solo trip. I was assigned a 4-person room, and it was the one furthest inside, away from the common areas, so I wasn't bothered by noise. Though, the other guests were generally quiet anyway. The bed frames are made of metal rods, and I was on the top bunk, so every time I climbed the ladder, the bed would creak. I was afraid to use the restroom at night because getting on and off the bed would disturb my roommates. Each room has a locker for each person that unlocks with a key card, which is great for storing belongings. Snacks are provided daily; I'd grab a 'Wang Wang' cracker every day, but you have to get them in the evening because by the time I woke up late in the morning, they were all gone. There's a water dispenser, which is very convenient for staying hydrated. The restrooms and toilets were very clean, which I really appreciated. Laundry facilities are available; you can buy laundry pods from the staff for 10 TWD, which is very cheap. I did laundry once, and it worked well. On check-out day, they can store your luggage for you. There were male staff members working.

My top choice for business trips – thoughtful service, quiet, and clean! The guests are also very considerate. I hope it stays this way, but the bed frame is really noisy; even a slight movement makes a sound, and I'm a bit worried about disturbing others. The bed frames in their other property aren't like this at all.

Clean, fresh, and very spacious. Every staff member greeted us with a smile and took their work seriously. Ambiance: Very cozy. Facilities: Excellent hygiene. The rooms were cleaned and trash was taken out daily. After all, it's an all-female occupancy, so standards tend to be higher.

The location is super easy to find, just a short walk from Taipei Main Station. The front desk service was incredibly thoughtful, and they even let us store our luggage, which made getting around so convenient. There's a bus stop right nearby too. Highly recommend!
