Backpacker Hostel Changchun Reviews

Terrible experience. When we checked in there was blood on the wall, the receptionist (that was REALLY rude) tried to yell at me that it was paint. After arguing that it was obviously blood, we changed rooms and there was hair in the other room’s mattress. We found a biscuit under the mattress upon checking out, that was not ours. There are permanent residents here, the vibe is unwelcoming, you are not allowed to use the balconies of the kitchen (only for staff ??) and the showers are rusty and half of them are out of order. For the same price, stay somewhere else.

The bathroom drain is not working well, and the kitchen lacks a spoon, but it is good for a night or two

loved that the staff were friendly and english speakers. There area was convenient for food trips, minimart and metro stations were all nearby. First time there, would definitely come again and recommend it👍

For the price and location it's a good hostel. The staff are friendly and helpful for the most part. My main complaint is that the shower areas are really hot, so you start to sweat as soon as you've showered. I think the hostel is a bit on the quiet side in the communal areas, but apparently all hostels in Taiwan are like that. Additionally, something I really appreciated about this hostel is they messaged me asking if I would arrive after 9 pm. Because I was going to, they left my key card in the lock boxes by the entrance, so I didn't have to pay the out-of-hours reception fee. If you will arrive after 9 pm, just let them know and they can sort this out for you.

You can walk from Nanjing Fuxing exit 1 to go to the hostel. The surrounding area is quiet. There is a PX mart right beside. The bathroom and shower room for men and women are different and we need access card to go inside them (women room). I think the common area is quiet spacious (not using it tho). There are many rooms, the room I'm using is not too small, bed also good enough.

The hotel was very detailed in sending instructions on how to check-in at night since my flight was going to land after midnight. With their instructions (as shown in the Photo), I was able to check in and comfortably rest for the night. Food options are also plentiful nearby.

Good as always 👌. Every time I'm in taipei, this is my hostel. Feels like 🏡 home.

Staffs are really friendly. They will talk to you as a friend during check-in and bring you to the room.

It was ok, but the smell was quite bad and annoying. For a few days it is alright but for longer stay I would recommend something different. Pros is for sure free washing machine in the kitchen.

They have a funny rule about arriving night time. But hello?? Flights arent all the same arrival! They can make a way like other hostel. Example, give door code, then leave the key in the table. I've been to so many hostel and they are the only who charges like this. Despite have 2 staff in the counter. To think of it, guest who arrives late paid more. Because they werent able to enjoy half of the day stay but paid the same amount. And then it even gas additional fee? Dont think that's worth it

The female receptionist was very patient to help me to fix my booking. 5 star 🌟 There's a supermarket just right next door and free laundry. very budget friendly.

Toilet was not clean, and had kind of smell. It was uncomfortable. But other things were okay

The location is close to almost everywhere, next to a supermarket open till cery later. Highly recommended
