The room was very spacious, and there were luxury boutiques downstairs. The hotel's breakfast and dinner were more Chinese and Japanese. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

The live music in the sunken plaza behind the cinema on the first floor was great. The room key is an actual key, which feels very old money. The carpet had a slight smell, but it was generally acceptable. The rooftop pool is very small and mini.

Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. The service was excellent. You can tell the hotel facilities are older, but they're well-maintained. The only minor downside was that the room I was given had a double door, which made unlocking it with the key a bit cumbersome each time.

Hands down the best hotel during my Taipei trip. It truly lives up to its reputation as Regent's flagship property and a classic ********* hotel. The executive club service was professional and attentive, and the executive lounge offerings were excellent. While the hotel's exterior shows some age, the interiors perfectly embody the standards of a luxury hotel. Additionally, the outstanding dining experience and the unique boutique gallery business model left a very strong impression.

Highly recommend the stay. The rooms were clean and spacious. Meals were very tasty and there was a very large selection available (including many vegan options). The spa experience was worth every penny,. We travel around the world and the massages we had here were absolutely the best ones. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We loved the stay so much we've extended and upgraded our room for extra nights.
