Caesar Metro Taipei

This was a pleasant stay. We were traveling with a child, and I had specifically requested a high floor in my Ctrip booking notes. To my surprise, the hotel really paid attention to it! The hotel has 30 floors in total, and they put us on the 29th floor, which was absolutely perfect with fantastic views. **Cleanliness:** The room had a separate wet and dry area, and the toilet was smart and very clean. **Transportation:** The hotel is located right above Wanhua Railway Station. You just turn a corner from the ticketing hall of Wanhua Station and you're there. It's also only a 5-minute walk to Longshan Temple MRT Station. **Local Food:** Around Longshan Temple MRT Station, there's an Oyster Vermicelli shop (diagonally opposite the 50 Lan milk tea shop) that you absolutely *must* try. The flavor is great and it's generously portioned. I dare say you won't find a better oyster vermicelli in all of Taiwan. Remember, next to the oyster vermicelli shop, there's a place selling grilled sausages – grab one of those too. Vermicelli + grilled sausage = a perfect combination! There's also a night market in Longshan Temple in the evenings.

Initially, I was a bit worried because some reviews mentioned poor hygiene, especially traveling with a child. However, after checking in, I found it to be perfectly acceptable. The location is excellent, literally right next to Wanhua Train Station, and also very close to Longshan Temple MRT. There are plenty of cheap and delicious local snacks nearby. Highly recommend it! 👍

Great location! The room was clean, though a bit small. Service was decent. Even if you arrive early, you still have to wait until 3 PM for check-in, but they do hold your luggage for you. Overall, it was a comfortable stay. A good hotel.

The room itself was clean and tidy, but it was a bit inconvenient that only one side of the bed had a power outlet, while the other side only had a USB port. The soundproofing in the room wasn't great, and it was really noisy. The elevator was quite slow, so there was a long wait when it was busy. However, the hotel's location is super convenient, right by Wanhua Train Station, and the MRT is also easily accessible. There are also many night markets, street food, and old shops around Wanhua.

The location is very convenient, and the stay was great and clean. It's close to the MRT station and also to a self-service laundry.

Pros: Great natural light, nice view, floor-to-ceiling windows, good location right above a train station and not far from the subway. Cons: Room is a bit old, slight musty smell, carpeted room. The price doubles on Saturdays, but I guess that's common in Taiwan.
