Deja Vu Hotel

The hotel's location is fantastic, just about a two-minute walk from the MRT station. The room was very clean and tidy, and it even came with a dehumidifier. Plus, there were complimentary snacks and drinks to enjoy. The staff were super friendly! I'll definitely be back next time. 😍

This is my second stay here, and I absolutely love this hotel. It's super convenient for getting around, shopping, and taking the subway. Plus, the price is really reasonable. I'll definitely choose to stay here again.

From Taipei Main Station, take the Bannan Line MRT and get off at Zhongxiao Fuxing Station. Use Exit 2 (not Exit 1) which leads to SOGO. Take the escalator up and you'll immediately be on a main road. While waiting at the traffic light, you'll see a very old building straight ahead. After crossing the road, walk past Poya (a cosmetics store) and continue for about 3 minutes along the street lined with shops. You'll then see the facade of Joe's Hotel. While the room rate isn't expensive, the place is incredibly old; I'd even say it feels a bit like an unsafe building. The decor is outdated, and the cleanliness is just average. Even rooms with windows offer no view when opened. Besides its good location, there are no other redeeming qualities. Given that there are other budget-friendly hotels nearby, I won't consider staying at Joe's Hotel again.

The hotel is quite close to the MRT, making travel very convenient, and the service is also great. The room was clean and tidy, the surrounding area is nice, and there are many malls and restaurants nearby, so shopping and dining are very convenient.

The only good thing about this hotel is its convenient location. The facilities are incredibly old, like they haven't been renovated since the 80s. The room offers absolutely no soundproofing; you can hear every flush and shower from upstairs. Plus, the view outside the window is genuinely creepy.

Check-in: Convenient and fast. Location: Super convenient, right next to Zhongxiao Fuxing MRT station. Security: Basic lock, good for honest people but not much else. Facilities: Very, very old. Cleanliness: Decent, nothing special. Ambiance: Very, very old. Service: The night shift front desk attendant was named Qingniao. After that, whenever I encountered other staff, I'd pretend to be an overseas Chinese and speak to them in English.

The service was great and everything was good overall, but the place is a bit old. They offer free snacks and a drink machine, plus a lounge. The air conditioning didn't have heat, and it was freezing during my stay because of a sudden cold snap.
