Hotels in Taipei National Palace Museum, Taipei

I liked about this hotel very much and few points are as below- 1. Lovely and luxurious feeling by residing in this hotel. Every facility gives you a feel of a luxury hotel such as bed, entrance, doors of the room, staffs curtsy. 2. Breakfast has wide variety including one option for vegetarian person as well. They serve you as you order and staff try to help as much as possible with there little English language. 3. All receptionist speaks fluent English. Nearby National Museum and very good view from hotel of nearby mountains. 4. Bedding and bathroom were spacious. Even though little far from main Taipei city but it is worth to stay here rather then in busy city environments.

A very comfortable and convenient hotel. The staff is very friendly. I think it's a gem among hotels. It has a great atmosphere, a large lobby, and space to chat with people. We felt like we were back 50 years ago, but in a positive way. The breakfast was very good, and the short walk to a nearby restaurant wasn't a problem. I recommend it. If I'm ever in Taipei again, I'll definitely be back.

Our family stayed at Via Hotel Zhongxiao for 2 nights and 3 days, and it was much better than we expected. We were satisfied with the location, cleanliness, service, and facilities. At first, the building itself seemed old and the first floor felt a bit dirty.. And the hotel was on the 3rd floor, so what is it?.... But.. When we went up to the 3rd floor, the hotel itself was clean and the staff was very, very kind. Our room, which was designated as a family room, was on the 4th floor Wow~~~ It was a little disappointing that there was no window, but the spacious, clean, and good water pressure bathroom and toilet made up for it. We expected breakfast because the rate included breakfast.. haha ​​This hotel doesn't have a restaurant, so it seems to have contracted with nearby cafes.. restaurants and provided meals. The breakfast at the nearby cafe was simple and delicious, like sandwiches, hamburgers, and coffee. Our family had a satisfying breakfast. Our family had a pleasant trip and returned home safely.

The room offered a panoramic view of Taipei City, including Taipei 101. The front desk service was incredibly thorough and attentive, explaining all the benefits and amenities available during my stay. The bedding in the room was exceptionally comfortable, I wholeheartedly recommend it.

The location is convenient, but the hotel lobby is small, the lights are so dim, and the children are quite frightened, because the floor corridors are eerie, dark, with deer heads, red lights, no facilities, the rooms are okay, the swimming pool is too small and dilapidated.

Absolutely loved it! 10/10!! From the hotel design and customer service to the room quality, everything was perfect! This hotel is great for people who like to social. They regularly host events at The Social (see photos). We booked the room with a King sized bed. The room was much more spacious than we thought. There was even a balcony! The Japanese-style bathtub was amazing too. And since the hotel just opened last year, everything is relatively new. The little things that count: - Over 10 sockets with built in adapter - Room can be 99% dark - Really comfortable slippers - Consistent water temperature for the showers - Strong hair dryer - A large variety of amenities - Well-maintained gym While I love the mood and vibe of the room, it might not be suitable for people who need to work as the lighting might not be sufficient. Once again, I don't guarantee that you will have the same experience but I will definitely come back and highly recommend it to everyone! Bonus: The restaurant (Texas Roadhouse) on the G/F has great service and quality food too! But since there are limited breakfast choices, I wouldn't recommend you get it every day if you're staying for long.

This was my first time staying in a room that featured a small side table, and I appreciated that the compact bed allowed for good air circulation. The hotel provides 24-hour hot water, and in the common area, complimentary amenities include hot and cold water, freshly ground coffee, tea bags, and light snacks. The location is fantastic, offering convenient MRT access and plenty of dining options. With Carrefour and Pxmart supermarkets nearby, it's also easy to pick up daily essentials and souvenirs.

For the price you pay, it is definitely good enough!  Check in and check out was very smooth and the employee informed well what my room includes and reminds of breakfast options.   They help to hold luggage after you check out. The room itself has this ramp in the room and the ledge into the bathroom is huge so I stubbed my toe a couple times and it was painful.   It was one of my first times getting a room with no window and it definitely makes a difference to a stay to not have sunlight in morning, so if that matters to you, don’t come here.   I chose this as I just needed a place to shower and rest before a flight.  The wall paper was worn down.    Amenities in mini bar was complimentary which is a nice gesture.  For a one night stay, i didn’t need to go out to buy water as i had 2 bottles provided.   Large enough space to open luggage and still have walking space, and it felt like it was a king size bed (or 2 doubles together).  Aircon works well.  Ideal location on blue line to get to Taipei Main station to take to Taoyuan airport and one of my favourite dumpling restaurants downstairs (Lin’s steamed dumplings).

Great place to stay. Everyone is friendly. Close to the metro. Variety kinds of breakfasts. Anyone will find their favorites. Definitely, I'm going to stay at this again. Love it.

I’ve stayed here many times when visiting. The rooms and decor are a bit old school. Reminds me of my grandparents home. However staff is attentive and service oriented. I arrived early at 5am before 3pm check in, fee for early check in was 1500NTD. The shower pressure is great.
