RF Hotel Hotels in Taipei

Staying at the Grand Pleasure Spring Hotel was a great choice. The location is excellent, with a plethora of fantastic restaurants nearby. Plus, it's super convenient for sightseeing, as Beitou Public Library and Beitou Hot Spring Museum are just a short walk away. Getting around is a breeze too, with Xinbeitou Station and Beitou Station both within easy walking distance. The hotel offers great value for money, with very reasonable prices. My room had a huge hot spring tub, and the bed was wonderfully spacious and just the right firmness, ensuring I slept soundly all night long.

The room was a bit small but clean and free of cigarette smell. The hotel is located in an alley, so it's not noisy. I found the soundproofing to be quite good, but the hotel's Wi-Fi was extremely weak. I used my phone's data, but my mom and sister couldn't connect to the hotel Wi-Fi at all. Because the Wi-Fi was so weak, we couldn't even watch YouTube on the TV. Currently, most hotels in Taiwan don't provide disposable toothbrushes for tourists, so remember to bring your own.

I love a good find! Like this hotel! I didn’t expect much but it’s cute, clean, cosy and just perfect for short stays! I’m definitely coming back. We got upgraded into a room with 2 king beds! So it was rather spacious. There’s a tiny window but not a problem. Room was clean. Cosy. Good pillow quality. Comfortable bed. Huge mirror in the bathroom, hot showers work well. No bidet. The lobby is cute. Snacks for free, juice boxes, free flow coffee. Just wash the cups after using them. Location, just a couple of minutes walk to main station, 10 mins walk to Ximending. Lots of restaurants around. Family mart, 7-eleven. Halal shops are also just 260m away!

This hotel is conveniently located on the bustling Zhongxiao East Road, making dining and shopping incredibly easy. It's only a few hundred meters from the metro station, which is great for getting around. However, it is an older hotel, so the facilities are a bit dated, though they do have a coin-operated laundry room. Right outside the hotel, to your right, there's a restaurant called ”Bu Yi Yang De Gan Mian” that serves excellent and very affordable beef noodles.

The place was clean and tidy, and the staff were all very friendly. However, there's a strict rule that the washing machine can't be used after 10 PM, but the staff stopped us from using it at 9:40 PM. Perhaps next time, guests could be informed that the service stops at 9:30 PM? Also, the towels were so worn out, they looked like floor rags. If they weren't kept separate, I might have mistaken them for one!
