Great location, very convenient for getting around. The bedding was comfortable, and I slept really well. The environment was quiet, and hygiene was spot on. Lisa at the front desk was very attentive and helpful. Super satisfied!

The room size is quite spacious, making it comfortable for two people. The hotel is located at a busy intersection, just a ten-minute walk to Zhonglou Street. You can find well-known old restaurants like Linxiangzhai, Laotaiyuan, Liuweizhai, and Renyili Qingzhen Steamed Dumplings there, all with good food. The only downside is that they can get very crowded, so you often have to queue for dinner. Precisely because it's in a bustling area, there's quite a bit of traffic noise at night. That's why I specifically chose a high-floor room away from the elevators. The window's sound insulation was decent, and with the window closed, it was relatively quiet. However, temperatures in Taiyuan already started rising in mid-April, and the room temperature could reach 28-29°C. The hotel's cooling system wasn't operational yet, so it felt a bit hot at night. I could only open a small window for ventilation, which brought in a lot of street noise – it was a real dilemma. My solution was to open the windows when I went out during the day and close them again before going to bed. Another issue was the limited ground-level parking. I often couldn't find a spot when returning in the afternoon and had to use the underground mechanical parking garage. Each parking space is quite narrow, which can be challenging for new drivers with larger vehicles. Thankfully, the parking attendant was very patient and always helped me maneuver successfully. On a positive note, the hotel breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of Shanxi specialties – much better than trying to find a small eatery on the street.

The air conditioning in the room wasn't very good, and it got really hot in the middle of the night. When we checked in, the staff were very enthusiastic about helping us with our luggage as soon as we got out of the car. When we checked out, it was raining, and the staff, without an umbrella, enthusiastically helped us load our luggage into the car. The other services were excellent! 👍

The hotel's location is excellent, right near the Liuxiang business district in the city center. It's about a 400-meter walk to Zhonglou Street, Food Street, and the Jinshang Museum. Transportation is incredibly convenient, with Kaihuasi Subway Station right at the entrance. We were on a family trip and stayed in the Hollywood room (room 1111). The room features a smart control system, so you can just say "Xiao Du Xiao Du" to open the curtains or turn lights on/off, which was really handy. The bed was huge, definitely big enough for three people, and the room was kept very clean. The service attitude was also great. We arrived quite early with our child before the room was ready, and the front desk and staff proactively asked if we needed to store our luggage and offered children's toiletries and slippers. What impressed me most was the breakfast! Wow, it was a fantastic surprise. I've traveled and stayed in many hotels, but the breakfast here is definitely one of the best. The food selection was extensive, from bread, fried shredded pancakes, fried rice, and freshly cooked noodles, to hot and cold dishes, various grilled sausages, soups, and a wide variety of drinks including coffee, milk, soy milk, orange juice, grapefruit juice, and more. It mainly featured Shanxi cuisine, which was excellent, and we were very pleased with that. Since we had our child, we paid an additional 34 RMB. I think there's a standard for this, like children over 1.5 meters pay 68 RMB for an adult meal ticket. Overall, we were very satisfied. If you're looking to visit places like Zhonglou Street and don't mind a slightly above-average price, I highly recommend this hotel.

This Holiday Inn, part of the InterContinental Hotels Group, naturally boasts excellent hygiene and room facilities. The amenities are high-quality with a subtle, elegant fragrance. The hotel service is also incredibly thoughtful and attentive. They proactively inquired about my check-in needs and did their best to accommodate them. Throughout my stay, they also thoughtfully asked about my experience and feedback! The hotel's location is superb, within a 5-minute walk to popular spots like Zhonglou Street, Liuxiang, Food Street, Yingze Park, Wuyi Square, and Chunyang Palace! There are also many Shanxi-specific restaurants and snack shops nearby, and a convenient store downstairs for easy purchases. It truly offers exceptional value for money!

The front desk service was excellent. The overall price was great value for money. The facilities were very new and modern. The location was good, very close to Bell Tower Street, and the surrounding area was convenient. The only downside was that the toilet in this room type didn't have a proper partition (only a curtain), which could be a bit awkward for two people. Overall, it was still very good.

The hotel was clean and the service was great. It's within walking distance of Bell Tower Street, and there's a Hao Gang Gang branch nearby. The staff always helped with luggage when we entered and exited, and the hotel's buffet was quite tasty too.
