Not bad, but many of the facilities were quite old, towels were with fringed edges (evidently from to many washings). While breakfast some dishes with food were empty, including the fruit ones, and no one was hurrying to replenish them.

Low standard hotel, queues for breakfast, lack of normal food

The staff were friendly but struggled with English. The room was comfortable and spacious however my towels were covered in long hair. Breakfast was a let down, the dining room was so humid. The hotel is also difficult to find from the street.

A really smooth, easy and enjoyable experience. The nice fellow who checked us in late Friday, and who we saw again on Saturday evening was a considerate and thoughtful professional who helped make our stay better, so sincere thanks to him and the whole team. The breakfast was surprisingly delicious; noticeably better than similar kinds of hotels in much larger cities. Room was clean, sheets crisp and the bed was comfy. The location allowed us to do the larger tourist things and then still walk back. All round a splendid choice I was well pleased with afterwards.

The hotel's location is relatively remote, and the hotel management seems to have some problems. From the moment you enter the hotel lobby, the overall experience is not good. The environment is not tidy enough and the marble floor feels like there is a layer of dust. Although there was a warm greeting at the front desk, it was a bit deliberate. The staff's clothes were a bit messy and their hair was a bit greasy. There are also major problems with room facilities and hygiene. The facilities are a bit old. The light strips and transformer circuits under the bathroom basin are suspended. The water in the shower room is a bit blocked and there is a lot of water. In terms of hygiene, there are still dirt left by previous residents in the bamboo basket. Dirty paper towels, the bathroom floor is sticky. There are also many hygiene problems in the hotel restaurant. The floor is sticky, cigarette butts have not been cleaned, the breakfast tastes bad, and the plates and tableware are not clean enough. All in all, this experience was very bad and not worthy of the Hampton brand.

I wiped the bathroom floor myself with alcohol wipes. The hair was dirty. I complained about the hotel towels, which were in such tatters. I brought a pack of alcohol wipes and wiped half of the pack myself.
