Although the hotel equipment is relatively new, the rooms are small and not cost-effective. It's quite close to Takachiho Gorge, and there are also Takachiho beef restaurants to choose from nearby.

The worst hotel of my stay in Kyushu, but yet the most expensive. I paid more than €370 for a suite but the bathroom smelled like sewer. when I reported it they just offered me another smaller room and no other compensation despite my requests. I asked for a commercial gesture but there was nothing to be done. The only good thing is that the hotel is nice looking but that's no use if the experience is bad. The next morning they gave us 2 pens and a picture as compensation. I really thought they were making fun of us. I feel frustrated. I will never repeat this experience and I do not recommend...

Good location, just a few minutes walk from Takachiho Shrine. The a**osphere inside the building and the rooms are nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful, recommending restaurants and providing cushions for watching the night kagura.

Lovely hotel located 5 minutes walk to Takachiho Shrine and 15-20 minutes to Takachiho Gorge. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Excellent service at the reception desk.
Hotel provided seat cushions for us to sit on to watch the evening show at Takachiho Shrine. Also very helpful with confirming our next destination since we did not speak Japanese.
Lovely meals in the onsite restaurant.
I would definitely recommend this hotel and even stay here again one day.

Generally speaking, the performance is good. The waiter can't speak Chinese and it will be easier to communicate with a translation app if he knows a little English. The receptionist is Indian and his accent is a bit difficult to understand.
