777 Takamatsu Guest House

Overall, it was a good experience, and I highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for value for money. It's located at the end of the Kataharacho shopping street, right next to the Kataharacho tram station, making it convenient for getting around. You can hear the tram noise constantly, but it's tolerable, and it didn't bother me at all, as I'm a good sleeper. My room wasn't in the building shown in the photos; it was in another building next door. The room was clean and tidy, and all the necessary amenities were provided. The most surprising thing was that there were Chinese-speaking staff members, so communication was seamless – I was so happy! The only downside was that the stairs were a bit steep, requiring me to hold onto the handrail to go up and down.

We had an unforgettable time in Takamatsu thanks to booking at 777 Hotel. Since we arrived late, the front desk had to work overtime to open the door for us. The service was excellent, and the room was clean!

The room was very cozy. Surprisingly, the owner was a foreigner. The room had an electric blanket, which was a thoughtful touch in the increasingly chilly weather. The location was quite close to the shopping street and train station, although the surrounding area was rather residential. The owner asked if we were his last group of guests this month or this year. We managed to catch the last train. He gets up early every day to walk to catch the ferry. Long live the Seto Inland Sea Art Festival!

Not far from the station and shopping street, overall good, bed with pillowcases to use, and cooking available. However, the washroom is slightly smaller and overall good and convenient.

There were foreigners there.
