I loved this place. Great traditional japanese house vibes. A lot of great amenities such as coffee, tea and snacks. The kitchen was very well equipped it’s almost a shame I didn’t cook. The fireplace room and the common lounge were super cozy.
My room was great. Tatami floor, a table for writing and a lower table for small meals. The futon was also very comfortable. Good air conditioning and lighting. Not sure if the other quests very super quiet but I couldn’t hear anything from my room, just the small sewer water floating outside.
Over all great experience, would recommend for people who wants to enjoy a nice traditional japanese ryokan. Cozy and relaxing.

Everything was great. The room was clean and comfortable. The futons are placed on top of a mattress. Good value for money and well-located. There's no physical reception; you connect to a tablet to reach someone by phone, who then gives you the code to release your room key. It's well-organized. We were able to leave our luggage at reception free of charge when we arrived in town before check-in time. I highly recommend it!

Clean and quiet room. Comfy futon. Shared kitchen well equipped. The only downside is the number of toilet/shower for women (the staff, mostly women, are sharing the same facilities). Looks like the staff is made of volunteers (around 10 people) living in the same building. Sometimes you feel like you are an intruder in their home (not a big issue but a weird feeling).

Stayed here one nite. Checked in using video conferencing. The guy is a foreigner speaking fluent English, hence it's a foreigner-friendly hostel. The hostel has a full blown kitchen facility for boiling water, and cooking.
Walking distance to old town for sightseeing and dining.
