Pension Hoshinosuna

和室に泊まりました。駐車場があるのでレンタカーが便利です。お庭が綺麗に手入れされていて海が見えるので窓越しに眺める景色は南国リゾートそのものです。建物が古いので、ドアがきしんだり、1回でちゃんと閉まらなかったりと言う事がありますが、お掃除もされており不便はないです。 1つ改善してもらいたいのは「wifi」、これは宿を予約する時に必ず見る項目なのですが、こちらの宿は「wifiあり」と書かれていたし、チェックインの説明書もパスワードが書いてある。なのに全然部屋で繋がらない。フロントに訪ねると「電波が悪くて和室は繋がらないんですよ〜」との返事。いや、繋がらないんですよ〜じゃないでしょう？だったら改善して繋げるか、wifi無しと表記すべきです。繋がりやすと言われた駐車場や洋室方面でチャレンジしてもwifiの電波全然拾えないですよ。ちょっと看過できないので口コミに残しておきます。宿でwifi使いたいと思って「ここはwifiある」と思わない方が良いです。

The location was great! The beach in front of me from the Western-style room on the second floor was the best. I saw the sunset and sunrise. I came to observe living things and plants, so it was nice to meet the gecko in the room. We ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the restaurant, and they were all delicious. I especially liked the curry set and fresh pineapple juice. Even if you rent a snorkel and just swim, you will be satisfied with seeing a lot of coral and fish. And the starry sky I saw when I took a walk around the area at night was really beautiful! The weather was fine and I was able to observe the Milky Way.

The star sand of Iriomote Island where my daughter invited an elderly couple. After coming to the island, renting a car is convenient and two mini cars are easy and smooth. About the hotel The children headed for the sea as soon as they were divided into two rooms for four adults and four children. The sky was clear and the sea was shallow, and there were few people. The children's big smiles made my husband and I spend a relaxing time. We got out of the sea and had a meal at a wooden table seat on the open terrace. The owner took care of us in many ways. I wouldn't say the rooms are clean, but I've stayed at worse tourist inns, so I'm happy with the Hoshi no Suna Hotel. I would like to stay at this hotel again next time.

I stayed alone. It seems to be run by locals. However, I felt that I was away from home. The scenery is nice, but what makes me not want to go there again is the atmosphere created by people. It felt like the part-timer was also taking care of me.

You can use the washing machine for free, and diving tours are held. ★Cons: ・The exterior and interior of the hotel is a training camp, and the tatami mats are quite old. The oldest I've ever seen in my life... It's about 10,000 yen per person, so the cost performance is not very good. If you can't pick up and drop off, I'd like you to come up with an alternative plan, but there's no such thing. I asked if I should wait for about an hour, but it was still difficult... It's difficult to ask the staff for anything, so I think a rental car is essential. (2) I felt from many staff members that they wanted me to leave immediately (without causing any problems). When I asked for compensation, he said, "Please look for me until I find you," even though it was around 18:00. After all, I couldn't even have dinner that day. It's definitely my fault that I lost it, but... After the above incident, every time I met with the staff, I was in a situation where they gave me advice and sarcasm. "Tomorrow, we will check out at 10:00, so please be sure to check out by then. Please absolutely do that!" When I left the room at the check-out time and was sitting on the bench outside, I was chased, "The guest in the 〇〇〇 room is past the check-out time. I have to clean the next guest." I had to go outside the hotel premises to be able to do it. I knew that I also needed to clean, so I was out of the room, but I was kicked out just because I was sitting on a bench on the premises... At least I wanted you to give me a little softer advice. This is just my imagination, but at staff meetings and other information sharing occasions, it may have been said that I was a person of concern. I had a bad feeling from the moment they refused to pick me up, but I felt uncomfortable until the end. Other pensions and guesthouses on Iriomote Island were able to pick you up. I think there are other accommodations on Iriomote Island if you just want to stay because it's right in front of the beach.
