The facilities are old but clean and not bad.
I wish the large public bath was open a little later than 11:30pm.
Samue are provided, but they are slim, small and the fabric is stiff. Aren't they too small for men?
But they also have yukatas so I used those.
I stayed one night with breakfast included, and was generally satisfied.

The staff were very friendly.
Not only were they friendly, but they also greeted me and when I mentioned that the course menu contained allergens, they were able to change the menu at short notice.

This is a hotel in a small town where you can also take a day trip to the hot springs, but the food was delicious and the staff were all very efficient and I felt very comfortable. The food, which used local ingredients, included turkey and wild vegetables, and the mojito made with Japanese mint was fragrant and delicious. It is not a resort as it is not a natural hot spring, the facility itself feels old, and there are also day-trippers, but it was a relaxing place. I would also recommend visiting the nearby Yoshuen Garden.
