Khaolak Wanaburee Resort is an ideal place for those who appreciate nature, comfort, and tranquility. Pros: The hotel boasts a large, well-maintained area with a beautiful landscape design. It has everything: direct beach access, a picturesque stream, and even a lake. The rooms are very clean, modern, and truly meet the standards of a 5-star hotel. Daily housekeeping ensures impeccable cleanliness. The charming bridges connecting different parts of the property add a special touch. Walking across them feels like being in untouched jungles. The beach is well-equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas, and there’s a cozy beachside café nearby where you can have lunch or dinner while enjoying the sea view. The resort’s territory is full of life: you’ll see many butterflies and even friendly monitor lizards wandering around, adding to the tropical paradise vibe. Cons: Breakfasts could be more varied, especially in terms of fresh pastries. Good to know: The nearest 7/11 or town café is about a 15-minute walk away (there’s a sidewalk). If you prefer not to walk, a taxi costs 100 baht. The closest self-service laundry is a 15-minute drive away (400 baht). Overall, Khaolak Wanaburee Resort is a perfect choice for those looking to relax in harmony with nature while enjoying comfort and quality service. Highly recommended!

My wife and I stayed here for 2 weeks and we could not have picked a better location, the room was spacious and clean, the grounds were well maintained the pool areas were clean with plenty of sun loungers the beach restaurant was sea facing with very good food with great service from Nim and her team with the added bonus of sipping a cocktail whilst watching the amazing sunset. the breakfast restaurant had a very comprehensive choice of meals along with a chef at a serving station making omelettes etc. you also have the option of sitting outside. Sali the manageress was a excellent host who took the time to come round every morning to speak to the guests to ensure every one was happy and enjoying there stay. Taxis are available from the hotel reception to go into Khoa Lak centre or to the night market. I would certainly recommend this hotel if you are looking peace and tranquillity in you holiday. We had an amazing stay at Wanaburee Resort in Khao Lak and couldn’t recommend it more. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, surrounded by lush trees and nature, with the beach right on your doorstep. It feels very peaceful and secluded, yet still conveniently located. The staff were incredible – genuinely kind, attentive, and always willing to help. They really went above and beyond to make our stay special. Our room was beautiful and very spacious, with a huge comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom. Everything was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was great, with plenty of choice, and the setting was stunning – served in a treehouse-style restaurant which made it feel extra special. The pools were also amazing and never felt overcrowded. The location was perfect for us, with Khao Lak town only a 10-minute tuk tuk ride away, so it was easy to get to restaurants, bars, and shops while still enjoying the calm of the resort. Overall, everything about Wanaburee was beautiful. We had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Khao Lak.

We have just returned home after spending 17 days at this oasis of peace and tranquility. From the moment we checked in we felt right at home. The location on the beach front is amazing and our bungalow was set amongst the lush greenery close to the lagoon. Our accommodation was excellent, with lovely comfortable beds and every amenity included. It is the staff however that make this resort stand head and shoulders above the rest. We were always greeted with a smile and a cheery Sawasdee. The front desk staff were excellent when checking in and throughout our stay when we needed advice about the area or trips out and about. The breakfast spread was exceptional and always plentiful and the staff at breakfast went above and beyond to ensure you had everything you needed. Wondering around the resort was always a joy and we found many things to enjoy when using the many different routes to and from our room. We really cannot thank everyone enough for making our stay an amazing one. We have been visiting Thailand for over 30 years and have to say, this is our new return to, home from home. Special mention must go to the manager Sali, who was always available for a quick catch-up about our stay in Khao Lak. Thanks once again and we'll be seeing you all again soon.

We've just returned from another three weeks stay at Khaolak Wanaburee Resort. What a fabulous time we had, from arrival to departure. The setting, the rooms and most of all, the wonderful Staff. We really can't thank everyone enough. The other guests too were so friendly, at breakfast it was like a family affair. I don't like to single out staff members but of special mention must be the wonderful Manager, Sali, who we've now come to consider a dear friend. Thanks also to the Reception team, Restaurant team and if course the breakfast team, with a special thanks to Naam. Hope to see you all again soon and thank you once again.

This was our second visit to this wonderful resort hotel and we were treated as family returning home, on our arrival. The manager Sali was so genuinely happy to see us back, as were all the staff from reception to room cleaners and gardeners. The peace and quiet and tranquility of this place is amazing, even when there are a lot of guests, you feel you are on your own with nature. A truly wonderful and beautiful place. Breakfast was buffet style with eggs to order, and cooked properly. Views around the grounds, especially around the lagoon gave you a feeling in the jungle with monitor lizards roaming around the grounds freely. As for the beachfront, you could not get a more photogenic view, we never tired of the views in our 20 days there. Looking forward to returning soon. Thanks to all the staff for their love and attention.

We stayed at Wanaburee resort for 17 nights in October 2025 and found it to be an absolute dream of a resort. Our expectations were far exceeded by the location, the wonderful staff, comfortable accommodation, and the surrounding nature, not to mention, the resorts location on the beautiful beach. Most outstanding, was the friendliness, courteousy and attention to every little detail. that the staff gave. We love them all from Sali to Khim and everyone else. They all deserve great credit for their work. This hotel has given us all, wonderful memories of a truly great paradise, and we cannot wait to come back.

We were very pleased with our stay at the hotel Wanaburee. It is in a prefect location, on the beach and surrounded by forest which is lovely to hear the sounds of nature. There are 2 pools, one right on the front looking out to the sea and my favourite was the 2nd in a beautiful location surrounded by the trees (adults only). The food at the restaurant was really good every night and I was happy to see they served frozen cocktails which are lovely in the warm heat. The staff are what really helps to make this hotel, with everyone very friendly. We hope the hotel appreciates their staff. Special shout out to Sinny who was a wonderful member of the bar/restaurant team, friendly and helpful at all times with a smile on her face every day. We also very much appreciated her good English, as our Thai was limited to hello and thank you! This hotel is good value for money and prices not so different from the main ***** in khao lak (unless you go to the outskirts). Having a massage right on the beach was also a wonderful experience. We stayed in a forest view room which had great space and the hotel cleaning was good throughout.

This hotel has the best location on the beach. Wide stretch of sand with perfect swimming opportunities irrespective of the tide changes. Good breakfast with a wide assortment and the beach restaurant is good for dinner and lunch. For a bit of variation you have two other adjacent restaurants. Rooms are clean and according to the pricing. Maintenance is a bit behind schedule, nevertheless not really an issue to complain.
