"The best room i have ever stayed in Thailand for 30 years ....in its price range , obviously. And including higher categories. Spacious room , big balcony , thoughtful decoration , good bed , nice traditional furniture in a quite good state . Super clean , good cupboard, spaces and drawers to organise things. Everything has a quality appearance. The building itself is well designed with open corridors and open reception area. Very good pool sorrounded by tropical vegetation . Although located near the main road, it is not noisy at all , with the exception of a few Moto GP drivers in the night . now comes the BUT ......basically nothing is within walking distance , no shop , no restaurant , no massage , not mentioning the beach . Taxi is very expensive, Grab does not serve the area. Without means of transport , i would have felt quite lost there . Another point are the stray dogs at night in the remote street ...i would not feel good to walk there in the night ."

"place is located on the main road, bit of traffic noise and a bar next door, but was not an issue. 771's, tourist shops, supermarkets, restaurants & bars all around, also mcdonalds 100m away if needed.can book trips & travel at reception, small dining area downstairs with coffee, microwave & toaster, bit of a hostel vibe rather than hotel. room was small, but perfectly adequate for my needs. (2 & luggage might be a squeeze, but they have larger rooms too), comfy bed, hot shower and decent aircon not far from the beach by foot. Recommend the Taj Mahal Indian 50m up the road. cheap n cheerful & clean, would come again."

"Overall is a good place to stay at and we would recommend it. The hotel is a bit old style, but the property is very clean, well kept and quiet. The garden is very big, beautiful and peaceful. It has 2 pools with enough sun beds and umbrellas. We went beginning of tourist season so I guess it would be different if we went a bit later. The gym could use some new machines. For the breakfast it was ok, but I wish they had more vegetarian options for myself, but I managed. Service was great and also the check-in and check-out was fast. The location is right next to a he main road so there are plenty of restaurants around and also the beach is close by. Just need to pass through an alley on the side of their other 5* resort. They can help you organize trips and taxi service also. Unfortunately I only have pictures of the beach on my phone."

"Well-maintained and clean hotel, with welcoming and tidy spaces. There is no elevator, but a staircase ramp makes it easier to reach the upper floors. A good choice for a quiet stay, especially if you don’t have specific mobility needs. No parking. Just street parking"

"Received a great welcome from the check in, explained details about the restaurant and things in the hotel. The room was great, breakfast, coffee, delicious snacks, there is a children's food zone, a large hotel on the beach, from the building to the sea, walk for 5 minutes, the swimming pool has many zones, suitable for families with children, impressed 🩷🩷"

"This is the best hotel. It's easy to find because it's on the main street. The room condition is the best. The water comes out well and the hot water is great. It's also nice because there's a veranda."

"My family and I were delighted. The houses are very clean, and surprisingly there is not a single ant in the villa, it is a mystery to us how it is possible to keep the house so clean. Both pools are excellent. The location is a plus for us, it is far from the main street, there are no problems with a car or a bike, but outside the window there is peace and quiet. We ate our fill for breakfast, although there was not much variety, but there was always something tasty to eat. The hotel staff are incredibly friendly, always trying to help. My daughter had a birthday on the day of departure, so they not only congratulated her at breakfast, but also brought such a delicious cake, sang a song and lit a candle. It was very nice, my daughter was delighted, did not want to leave. I am writing now from a 5-star hotel with a bunch of ants, although we live on the 3rd floor and I really miss this place, it was soulful and calm here. We will come on our next vacation!"

"🌿 Mai Holiday by Mai Khao Lak (adult zone) This zone is suitable for those who really want peace and quiet. The feeling of lying down quietly, reading a book, and relaxing your mind. 📍Suitable for those with a private car, must have, no problem. 📍General service, the staff are like new employees. 📍The room is spacious, condo feel, with a bedroom, bathroom, living room, outdoor balcony, can lie down and relax. 📍Breakfast for us is quite varied, there are many to choose from, but it's a basic menu, not that wow. 📍The swimming pool is spacious, the front zone is a family zone, there is a slide, opens at 11.00 am, the back zone is not very clean, there is slippery algae, but overall it is quite wide. 📍The hotel area is quite large, every time we go somewhere, we have to call a car all the time. At night, it is quite dark, scary for us. 😱 ⛔️ The room we got had no phone signal at all. Those who bring work to do will have a hard time. The phone signal is only 1 bar, the hotel's wifi is not excellent at all, there is almost no TV signal, the screen is like a water droplet like in the past, saving electricity. The TV is almost never turned on because it can't be watched. Overall, it is an indifferent hotel, not uninspired. But there was nothing impressive 555 🥰🥰🥰"

"A Disappointing Stay, Lacking the Thai Hospitality I've Come to Expect I have been a returning guest at this hotel over the past three years, having stayed more than ten times. Unfortunately, my recent visit was particularly disappointing. The check-in and check-out process continues to be a major source of frustration. The staff at the reception desk lacked the warmth and ”Thai smile” that guests expect. The atmosphere felt less like a welcoming experience and more like an intimidating one. I believe it would significantly improve the guest experience to have more Thai staff on the reception team, not the Filipino mafia. While the rooms are generally acceptable, I was disappointed to find that ongoing renovations meant the best rooms were unavailable. I am grateful that I only booked one night. The basic breakfast was good, and I must commend the Karkinos restaurant for its beautiful ambiance and excellent food. A significant issue during my stay was the power outage from 1:00 AM to 4:30 AM, which left the room without air conditioning. I had to make several calls to staff before learning that a power pole was down. What was most disappointing was the complete lack of apology or acknowledgment from the reception staff upon checkout. Overall, this was a very disappointing stay due to the ongoing issues with the front desk staff and the poorly handled power outage."

"I stayed in a room for four, perfect for groups of friends and families. The location is excellent, right on the beach with a beautiful view. The room has all the amenities and the bathroom is spacious. I personally don't like the pillows here because they smell a bit musty."
