My stay was good! However, when we returned to our room in the evening, it was not cleaned, persons who previously stayed left half filled drinks in the refrigerator. We threw the items in the trash, of course the room wasn’t cleaned. The last item was a $20.00 charge to my credit card I left for incidentals, we had none. We typically stay there when we visit my dad, however I am not so sure anymore.

I stay at hotels year-round. I've had poor experiences at hotels before, but I never felt the need to say anything. However, the interaction I had with the employee at this hotel's front desk was by far the worst experience I've ever had with hotel staff. He was rude, arrogant, and disrespectful towards me and towards others around him. Despite that, my wife and I still checked into Home2 into Room 237. Upon entering the room, my wife spotted the biggest roach we have ever seen. Attached is a picture of it. We quickly went to the front desk, and they gave us a room another floor up, Room 304. We moved our things into Room 304. However, we began to see small roaches throughout the room and hallway. There is also a picture attached of one of those smaller ones. We did some research, and apparently, the roaches are a common problem at Home2 in Tallahassee. We found out that many people on Google Reviews have pictures and stories of the roaches there. It seems that the roaches are not isolated to one room or even one floor. The roaches seem to be everywhere. I would especially be concerned with eating any food made there. My wife and I ended up moving our stay elsewhere. I would recommend you do the same.

Standard hotel nothing to complain about

The staff at the reception was very nice. The hotel is old and has to be renovated.

DON’T STAY HERE: keep reading: URINE!! We have stayed here in the past and had a good experience… things have changed for the worse! Upon checkin the employee was not welcoming, just kind of went through the motions. We get to our room, it’s clean enough but hot. We tried to adjust the thermostat on the wall, it doesn’t work. My husband walks downstairs and the employee says, “I’m not an engineer” when asked if the AC isn’t working since our entire floor felt hot. We go back upstairs, we don’t have bedding for the pullout. We call down and then eventually walk down to get that. Here is where it gets crazy! We all go to get into bed and find URINE!!! in one of the beds. My husband walks downstairs and instead of apologizing the employee says “I’m not housekeeping.” My husband is understandably upset and the employee is arguing with him, at one points walks out the front door, and then calls the cops! I had to wake up my sleeping kids to leave this hotel. Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had! If you want a dirty room and to deal with horrible employees this if your vacation spot. Otherwise, go anywhere else.

I stayed in a connecting room and I could hear everything going on in the room next door. Other than that I loved the property. Staff was friendly.

The receptionist who checked us in was friendly and very accommodating. The rooms were clean and safe. The hotel is located near dining options and pharmacies in case of last-minute items or medicine needed. I wish it had more firepits for the cold nights but overall it was great.

During shower, no hot water, then no water. Water pressure went to zero and all i saw was a trickle. Shower leaked into main area, sink was clogged. Beds were good, room was large and comfortable.
