Otherwise ok, the room is a bit dusty and the pillows have seen their best days. Lovely views (family room with city view, room on the 19th floor) and nice seat cushions on the windowsill.
Breakfast basic set, ok, but nothing special.

The location of the hotel is good, the parking is good, the breakfast was good, otherwise everything worked but the pillows were really bad. With this kind of neck pain, I would have wished for some kind of pillows, but they were completely inferior :)

We stayed at the Viru hotel for two nights with family. The room was comfortable, and even though there is a busy street outside, the windows dampened it so the noise did not disturb sleep. The location of the hotel is excellent, the old town and other parts of Tallinn are within walking distance. The breakfast was also really great at the hotel. The hotel also has an interesting history, connected with the Cold War era. The only thing we did not like was dust under the bed / under furniture, probably inadequate hoovering.

Smell in the bathroom was terrible - might even be mould. It is an old and legendary hotel and the view from the upper floors is very nice. Location is okay too even though u might find a lot nicer hotels more far away from the center.

The location of the hotel is excellent, but if your room is not on the upper floors, the music of the nightclubs can be heard disturbingly in the room. The breakfast is ok, not bad, but not that special either.
