Hotel Regent Tallinn

   Upon our arrival we immediately felt an excellent a**osphere when we met the manager Antonio, who manages everything there. Here at n.69 Pikk street, a few minutes from Piazza Municipio, the Regent hotel boasts UNESCO protection, minimal stylish interiors, impeccable cleanliness and soundproofing and quality of the king bed, history! The receptionists are professional, courteous and friendly and welcome in several languages, including Italian. Our superior, where we stayed for 2 nights, was in the attic on the 4th floor, without breakfast of choice, elegant/minimal furnishings, scented, very white and spacious bathroom where everything works, equipped with high-quality courtesy set and bathrobes for use in the room and in the spa. I stayed 5 days in this charming 5-star hotel (well deserved) in old Tallinn on Pikk, near the church of St. Olav, located in a building from the late 1300s, perfectly restored. Elegant junior suite, very clean, comfortable (extraordinary bed), with a beautiful modern bathroom, equipped with tub and shower, bidet and double sink. Kind and professional staff, always available and mostly native Italian speakers. If I returned to Estonia I would certainly return to this hotel. Excellent prices in relation to the service.

The first mention of this house in the old town of Tallinn is said to date back to 1364. There are various types of rooms, each one different and individually designed and modernized. We particularly liked the great bathroom with underfloor heating. We had booked a room without breakfast because we didn't think this (usually 2 cups of coffee and some pastries) was worth the extra €50. The confirmation email mentioned breakfast included; good, we thought, then the price was right. When we checked in, however, the owner said that we hadn't booked breakfast. He didn't accept that one was confirmed by email anyway, saying it was due to the computer program. A strange excuse - we later found out that we were the only guests at that time at the end of January. So we understood, but felt uncomfortable with this business practice, especially since we had experienced an upgrade in another holiday region. So one point deducted, although we otherwise liked the hotel very much.

Hotel in the heart of Tallin's old town, very well located; super romantic and charming, the rooms are literally inside the stone; and the main point is the hotel owner, an Italian who loves Brazil and speaks Portuguese, super attentive and kind and is directly at the hotel reception;
