All good and getting use to the self service. One of the acceptable budget guesthouse in Tamarindo.

Great location. No parking. It doesn’t help that there is no staff member to help. I had to go to the coffee shop next door to get help.

Well, there's not much to say. The rooms are small, but there's air conditioning, which is really worth it. I also appreciate the self-check-in option. However, I would have liked to have received that information the day before. Otherwise, the location is very good.

The staff don't speak English, but they are very helpful. The room is equipped with a refrigerator, air conditioning, a hairdryer, and hot water for the shower. You can hang your laundry outside.

The room smelled of fresh paint, as if it had just been painted. There was a cockroach and black sand on the bed. I went in and out immediately because it was impossible to sleep there.

It's convenient because it's self-check-in, so it doesn't take long to check in. The room was clean, and there was a shower outside the room to wash off the sand, so there were no particular inconveniences.

Normally, I only write reviews when I feel there was noteworthy, exceptional service. I feel inclined to warn other travelers about this place. First off, this is self check in, and you won't find this out until you harass the hotel online about your reservation and it's on or after your check in time. The locals will take pity on you and tell you that this happens all the time and that's why the reviews are so bad. Once you finally hear from the hotel and get your room code, you'll find that the rooms are is a gross state of disrepair. I took photos and hope I'm able to upload them. This was, by far, our most expensive lodging in all of Costa Rica (we traveled the entire country), and hands-down, the most disappointing! It really could be an amazing place with some care and money put into it.

Would NOT recommend!!! The room was absolutely gross! The bed sheets had blood on them among other stains. The ceiling had black mold. The shower was gross! Room was not at all like the photos online.
