The Westshore Grand, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Tampa

What an amazing stay I checked into the Westshore Grand and I hoped to expect good service. I experienced 5 star service from Shay and the rest of the team, she insured my stay was exemplary. However I also booked additional rooms and all of my guest experienced 5 star service from Shay and the team. The hotel is located in a prime area right across the street from the mall and next door to a Publix. The rooms were clean and the views were exceptional. I can’t wait to book again.

My wife and I stayed a couple of nights at the Westshore Grand while I was in Tampa on business. The hotel was rated well and looked interesting which is why I chose it. The glass elevators were cool but that was the only interesting thing about the hotel. The parking garage was confusing with the signs saying park in one area but the front desk telling us to park in another. Beware if you have a vehicle higher than a sedan as the garage roof is really close. The whole hotel is extremely dated and needs a full renovation. The room was musty and warm throughout our stay. The bed was not comfortable, and we did not sleep well. The curtains did not fully close allowing light to come into the room at night further impacting our sleep. The toilet barely functioned. The pool was old and dirty with mold and mildew around the edges. For a hotel that bills itself as luxury, this was far from the truth. I strongly recommend against staying at this hotel. It does not live up to its billing or how it’s rated. For the same price, there are much better choices in the Tampa area.

Perfect location. 10 minutes from airport 15 minutes from downtown. The staff was attentive, informative and service oriented. A special thank you to Shay, who greeted everyone with smile. She made us feel welcomed and made sure we were well taken care of - from transportation to restaurant recommendations. The bar area was an excellent location for socializing and planning our day ahead.

Wow! What a great short stay. We were in town for one night. We as asked for an early check in and were upgraded to a suite. Warm and welcoming front desk (I was so tired I forgot your name!) Room has a luxurious feel … the decor to the robes in the bathroom. The bedding was Perfect from the mattress to the light sheets. On-site parking in the garage is free and the food in the restaurant for breakfast was outstanding. We loved the service we received from Janeen …..Wonderful conversationalist , made great recommendations and kudos to chef. The fitness center and pool were also top-notch. Great experience… full disclosure. I am a Marriott platinum member And I was staying on points.

This hotel was a great! It has an awesome location with the convenience of Publix being next door and a mall across the street. The hotel accommodations were just what I needed for my weekend stay. I would definitely be open to staying here again. I would only say if the selling point or dealbreaker for you is the pool, it is not as visually pleasing as the picture gives the illusion of. The roof top is dated in design however one can still manage to get a nice tan or take a refreshing swim as the pool does get to at 8 feet.

Excellent in every category and aspect!

EVA WAS THE BEST!!!! So I could have gone anywhere while on my trip. The first night I met her, she was friendly and welcoming. On my 5 day trip I ate at the bar 3 times just so I could talk and to her and enjoying the my night. I think everyone that was there really enjoyed the atmosphere that she created.... I would give her a rating of 100/10.

Eva did a great job bartending. She remembered my name every time I stopped by! She was always in top of filling my drinks and playing attention to whatever I needed! I appreciated the great conversations and laughs we had with her. I highly recommend spending time at the bar during your stay!

Eva was so amazing as our bartender.. She would continue to offer tremendous service night after night. She would remember our name and make us feel at home. We are returning in October and look forward to seeing her again because we are in client service business as well. And we really have great respect for fantastic customer service!
