Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Tampa Airport East-RJ Stadium

Our night there was terrible. I stayed with my family, husband, and 2 kids. The room smelled like mold. we notified the front desk, and they did nothing about it. I called trip.com, and nothing was done on that end. I had to leave the room even tho I paid for 2 nights and only stayed 1. We had to spend the night in the airport. The front desk receptionist cursed at me and lied, stating I had no kids with me. She even called the cops on us after we left, stating we threatened her. below are pics of the mold on the box spring.

Hotel was a huge disappointment. First clue should have been the large wall clock in the lobby was broken with the time being over 5 hours off. Rooms smelled extremely musty (suspected mold). Looking at the exterior of the building, there was apparent mold on the exterior of the windows (I thought it was a tinted window from the inside). The breakfast was inedible. The public restrooms off the lobby were always locked & the front desk clerk had no keys; which forced me to go back to my room; which didn't open because of the faulty key; which forced me to go back down to lobby to get new key; just barely making it to my bathroom in my room in time! Electronic Room door key barely worked properly if at all. I had to get a recharged card at least 3 times during my stay. TV did not work properly. The night able lights did not work. The electric outlets in the room allowed the plugs to just fall out of the wall. I was charged $700 for 3 nights. Others in my party were charged half that. We all booked same time, same way direct thru the hotel registration desk. I asked front desk about this and they said I got a good deal! I've stayed at nicer hotels for much less $$. This hotel is not worth it and I highly recommend that you look elsewhere.

This is a nice hotel. Breakfast was pretty good. Really nice pool area. Last but certainly not least, Alivia was extremely friendly. She really enjoys her job and is an asset to your company. She also helped us find restaurants and bars nearby. We used the 15% off coupon at the counter for the sub shop (Potbelly) and their sandwiches were excellent.

Walk into the room and all you could smell and feel was mold and mildew. Went for a football game and should have chosen something else!

This location is perfect. Stayed in Tampa for a football game and this hotel was about a 15 minute walk away. Our tv had poor reception but we weren’t there to really use the tv. Staff was so friendly, especially Alivia who checked us in. She had a line of people to help but took her time with us and even joked with us. Would definitely stay here again.
