Beautiful room and common areas. Dinner was excellent, great breakfast. Staff were very attentive. The rooftop sauna with city views was a great way to relax at the end of the day. Sami music playing in my room really when I arrived set the tone as did the pine scented soaps.

Gli attribuisco il punteggio massimo seppure qualche aspetto si possa migliore. Tuttavia, l’hotel è veramente molto funzionale, comodo e con un servizio di alto livello. Camere grandi dotate di ogni comfort, a partire da accappatoi e ciabatte per la sauna (all’ultimo piano, non grande ma molto carina e con vista sulla città) e a finire con la macchina per il caffè con le cialde. Occhio però, alcuni prodotti sul bancone della camere sono in realtà a pagamento. Non c’è l’armadio. Letto grande e comodo. Bagno, nella nostra camera, che affacciava sul letto, e questo può creare problemi se non si è da soli. Arredamento lappone, con pelli di renna e corna su tutte le pareti. Sala colazione al piano terra molto scenografica, ma un pò affollata vista anche la dimensione dell’hotel. Colazione principalmente salata, dolci pochi e non un granché. Personale molto attento e professionale. Posizione comoda dietro la stazione ma in una zona tranquilla: è la via che conduce all’università. Prezzo caro,a considerati i prezzi finlandesi e la qualità del servizio ci sta. Consigliato.

Don't come here, service is non existing. We happened to click on the wrong date when booking. And even if we wanted to cancel/change dates at the very same minute that we booked when realizing the mistake, they refused to cancel. The booking and cancelletion were made at the same minute so they, of course, understand that we've made a mistake, but no help or service. Just money greed unhelpful, none understanding garbage. Do not support these types, there are much better options!

The hotel has a great fire and ice theme. And if you've ever watched the TV show Game of Thrones, the piped in music in the halls reminded me of the show. The decor is mostly black and grey, and the hotel is part of an arena that hosts music, sports and other events. Lots of wooden reindeer, candles, antlers and unique lights resembling icicles. The food was so unique – and good – and the décor presentation whether it is birch wood, stone, paper/burlap bag for food, etc. in the hotel restaurant was very original from what I've ever seen before. For example, the bread was served on a wood slice, which is not that unusual, but the butter was on a piece of rock. My only concern was the size of the rooms. They were very small and cramped, but since my husband and I were only there one night it didn't make that much of a difference. But if I was to stay for a few days, not having a desk in the room would have been an issue.
