Some of the towels in the apartment were dirty. The kettle was missing. The rooms and the whole hotel is backward, outdated. At breakfast, the queues were partly only one-lane, the seating should be from two ends, when a lot of people are speeding up. Terrible coffee!!!

The location is superb. The view is amazing. The breakfast has various nice options.
The place is more of family place. It looks like the place is quite popular among people travelling with kids. So its possible to hear kid crying late at night, not that it disturbed us. For noice sensitive travellers I recommend to avoid going to breakfast between 8:00-9:30. Its like trying to eat in a kindergarten. The noice gets easier after 10:00.

En odottanut mitään erityistä. Koska tiesin, että huone olisi ihan perushuone. Vailla mitään luksusta. Olisi vaan hyvä että ihan perusasiat olisi kunnossa. Kuluneet paikat voisi maalata kuntoon.

The hotel advertises parking on their website. Truth is, they laugh at your face once you arrive and inquire about it. And send you to park somewhere else, which is further away and more expensive. I paid for a ”superior” room. The surface of the floor was broken in several places. It also looked dirty but maybe is was just too worn. There was a sofa but no sofa table. The bathroom was tiny and shabby with chipped enamel and no chance to charge your electric toothbrush. Bed was comfortable and breakfast was basic but ok. The location is excellent but I will no go back. Not my idea of value for money.

First stay at the Scandic koskipuisto hotel. The surprise was the smallness of the hotel room, a really narrow route to the window side of the bed, dodging the corner under the TV. The sounds from the corridor and other rooms could clearly be heard in the room. The lighting was good in the room, as was the pool, sauna in the ward and the versatile Scandic breakfast. Maybe the prices of this aging Scandic hotel could be lower than other newer Scandic hotels.

Ajoi asiansa: tavoitteena oli yöpyä ja saada aamupalaa. Tuntui kuitenkin, että Scandic on jäänyt ajasta jälkeen ja kokonaisfiilis tuntui hostelliyöpymiseltä aamupalalla.
