Very nice place! Quiet and close to the beach (by foot). We had good evenings at the Restaurant. Very friendly People and good organized tours!

Wow" great place to be, honestly it's not just hotel it's paradise moment we arrive at the hideaway Lodge thangalla, worm welcoming and great staff and owner was behind us and helping with our stay ferfect, wonderful seafood I ever had srilanka, breakfast was yummy, nice clean room, lovely nature around the hotel, cross the lagoon near to beach where you can swimming it's call rock pool, Manju have always good suggestions for us to plane next trip, 10 mint walks to lagoon paradise beach resort they have nice swimming pool. Everything was brilliant, definitely we come back,

was following Hideaway on instagram months before going to thangalla and I wondered if it would live up to the hype. Well....it did, in an even better way than I expected. I wasn't staying there but I went in for a morning yoga class (the best I had in all my journey), followed by delicous food and finally, a goooodddd coffee!! It was also the perfect place to come and have a drink around happy hour, and stay and make friends until the last call ;) The staff is super nice , It was great just to relax, barefoot in the green , and watch the turtle, near to beach where you can find Rock pool for swimming. perfect harmony. A little haven, really. Not pretentious at all. I also treated myself to a ayurvedic massage owner Manju was helping me to arrange it was great (and legit). You must take time to discover this place. My recent stay at The Hideaway Lodge was exceptional, and a large part of that credit goes to the wonderful staffand owner particularly Manju and staff Their attentiveness and warm personalities made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. Owner Manju went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. They were always available to answer questions, offer recommendations, and assist with any needs we had. Their positive attitudes and genuine smiles were truly infectious, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout the hotel, also wonderful breakfast we had during our stay, food yummy, cocktails was brilliant, thanks Manju again for your kindness. Highly appreciated and Recommend for future travellers.

A hidden gem where we were able to relax in a beautiful location. The staff were excellent, I should mention Pisandu in particular, and they were friendly and attentive. Top marks from us.

Away from the hustle and bustle of Tangalle, Hideaway Lodge is a real find. The location is a short walk to an open, attractive beach. Unfortunately it's not safe to swim, but pleasant to walk along. The small lake on the property hosts a variety of birdlife, and the deck over the lake is a wonderful place to have breakfast or a quiet drink. Our room was comfortable and spacious. Ranga and the other staff were very helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome. They were happy to accommodate my gluten free diet too.

Все понравилось, целый этаж для меня одной, прекрасный вид на реку, океан слышно) свой балкон - лоджия. Вкусно кормят, завтраки входят в цену номера и они потрясающие! Огромные и вкусные) я впервые не съедала завтраки на этом острове - просто не влезало. По желанию могут принести еду в номер и обедала я обычно там, на террасе. Тоже вкусно и по приемлемым ценам. Вокруг тихо и спокойно, только шумят лесные и не только жители) По территории бегают бурундуки, летают попугаи и ходят павлины. До моря 10 минут пешком.

Came initially for four days and stayed for a further seven days. Very peaceful and quiet adjoining a large lagoon with an abundance of wildlife. Large variety of bird species, aquatic life is also varied, monitors and large numbers of fish can be observed. The rooms are very clean, linen is changed daily together with the towels, water is always hot. Staff are always at hand to be of any assistance. The meals are great with staff catering to each individual. Choice of western or local cuisine. There is transport available to visit the town centre, tours of the region can be organised. I highly recommend hideaway lodge with our experience here.

The hotel is beautifully located. The surrounding is peaceful and the view from the hotel is magnificent - so many beautiful birds. The room is very clean, big and comfortable. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpfull with everything what u need. Nearby beaches are beautiful and very quiet.
