Pre booked and paid online,, after arriving we were informed due to covid the swimming pool and breakfast and gym was all closed. Would of been nice to receive a extra discount to compensate for that. Otherwise great place and would have given 5 stars otherwise.

The place is adequate, nothing special, nothing bad. Its clean, bedding is good, internet is fast. Problems I had are the vending machines were out of order and the single elevator was really slow. For what they charge I expected better. Problem is they're one of two hotels in town and I guess they can charge whatever they want.

This hotel is overpriced for the semi-remodeled accommodations. There's one uncomfortable, spindly chair in the room, the tub was chipped in several places, and the one elevator that serves the hotel is tiny and unnervingly squeaky. Worst yet, while I was at the pool (which has no bathroom and the only one available down the hall was locked), a hotel staff member rummaged through my things. I had hung my "busy" sign on the door, but it seems they took that as a sign I was out. They took a bottle of hydrocodone from my meds bag, took the pills, and threw the empty bottle in the top of my purse. When I tried to report it, the manager was not in and the desk person's response was "Housekeeping says no, they don't recall it." Will report to the manager directly. Done with HIE!

This was a terrible stay. My husband and I were bitten repeatedly when we got to the room. Thought it was bed bugs. Notified front desk and was told it’s probably fleas because they had a lot of service dogs that stayed in the hotel last week. We checked out within 2 hours of arriving. I asked for a refund. Clerk refused to give me a refund. I do not recommend staying at this hotel.

I was in Amite for business. The hotel was nice - what I expect from a Holiday Inn. Amite is a typical small town.

We came to see family that we had not seen in years, The stay at the Hotel was convenient, Very clean, Breakfasts
was great Staff taking care of it was Great, Highly suggest anyone going on a trip for business or pleasure STAY here.
