Our stay at the resort was wonderful. The owner was personally involved and met with the customers. Food was excellent and the staff was very helpful. The facilities were fair, rooms and bathrooms need upgrades. Room service was hard to order. The roads need to be fixed, paving the Main road into the resort would make driving to the facility easier.

We had a really nice time at Tango Mar for a week. The resort is really nice, the staff are very kind, and the food/drinks are delicious. Highly recommend the tortuga snorkeling tour with Juan and Curu wildlife reserve visit with Ernesto (my favorite).
The resort is quite isolated so my only change would be to split staying here and somewhere else on the peninsula (ex: Santa Teresa or Samara/Nosara) to get a more diverse experience. Transportation between the two can get quite expensive.

I have travelled to costa rica many times and this was one of the most exquisite locations I've ever seen, The thundering sound of the ocean waves along with the incredible pink sunrises can not even truly be described with words. Everything was magical and the inclusive breakfast was also very nice. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and it is a place I will be back to soon! The golf course was also great and a good daytime activity for all skill level golfers.

Het was enkel genieten met ons groepje bij de sympathieke gastvrouw Hilde uit België ! Bij vertrek kwam ze ons nog een goede reis wensen en hebben we nog een leuke foto genomen !!! Ze was zeer gastvrij , er was lekker eten , mooie kamer en het is daar een zeer mooie locatie !

This hotel is a dream to be in. Waking up to the sound of waves, opening your window to a stunning ocean view, lay down in a hammock for a nap, taking a dip in the cool cristaline water. This is what life is all about.
The restaurant was not that good, and there are very few dinning options around the area, which was the only part that we felt could use improvement.

Excelente ubicación. La playa al frente es perfecta. La habitación muy cómoda y bien cuidada y con vistas inmejorables! Además, muy buen servicio al cliente por parte de los colaboradores. Hotel perfecto para despejarse de la ciudad y tomar un descanso.

Comment dire .... Passé 2 jours dans un Endroit paradisiaque vraiment au bord du Pacifique. Un grand remerciement à Hilde qui dirige cet établissement. Elle prend toujours quelques instants pour échanger avec ses clients. Un accueil avec un cocktail rafraîchissant. Une belle chambre spacieuse et impeccable ainsi que la salle de bain. Une terrasse particulière avec une vue sur l océan. On est bercé par le bruit des vagues. De belles piscines. Nous avons dîner au restaurant où les cocktails sont excellents, nous avons principalement commandé les plats avec du poisson , c était un délice. Ma fille a commandé des lasagnes et des pâtes , c était à tomber par terre. Un petit clin d œil pour le dessert Volcano flambé, je vous laisse le soin de découvrir la petite surprise !!!! Le petit déjeuner est très bien servi et on peut choisir quel type de déjeuner on souhaite. (Tipyque, pan cakes , anglais, gaufres) et des fruits biensur. Le personnel est accueillant, serviable et attentionné. Un grand merci à Camilla, qui nous beaucoup aidé pour la réservation de notre ferry. Encore un un grand MERCI à toute l équipe du Tango Mar Je le recommande vivement !!!!

Beautiful place, loved the views and surrounding nature. Enjoyed a massage, horseback riding on the beach, and short hike to a waterfall. The first room close to the ocean and pool had spectacular views but I wasn’t able to sleep since I’m not used to hearing waves at night. The second room (tropical suite) was perfect for sleeping. The owner from Belgium was very friendly. What would make this place outstanding would be water bottles in the rooms (prefer this over wine). Also, I’m a medium-soft kind of person when it comes to mattresses, and the beds were a bit too hard for me. But overall wonderful, just needs a few extra comforts to make it exceptional.
