Was surprised at size of standard room which was huge fir the price paid. Breakfast was also good. Maybe hotel should package the carpark feed (RM5) into the room package as complimentary seringbthat it was always difficult to find a lot in front of the hotel. Had to wait ~ 1hr before they send me my requested ice cubes (after 2 reminders)! Good location as supermarket was just across the hotel & there were several eateries along the same shop row. Managed to also get a good sunset view during the evening.

The hotel is located in town area of Desaru. If you are a beach lover, this hotel might not be the one for you. It is conveniently located to many eating places and places of interest. The hotel rooms are relatively large and clean overall but they have a bad system to put a card on the bed so they will change the pillow case. The problem is what happens when people check out that day and don't put the card. This might be the problem why we had smelly pillows when we checked in. They need to revise the system to prevent this from happening.

Positives: • great location near local shophouses - supermarket just 2min walk from lobby • pleasant looking hotel with nice deco • pricing is much better than hotels along the coast Negatives: Did not provide the basics of a good hotel experience IMO - check-in delays - room service - buffet dinner - noise level + offered discount Check-In Delays 🕕🕦🕚🕐🕥🕧 My group of 15 guest deliberately arrived after 3pm as stated on the hotel booking so that we might minimize waiting time for rooms to be ready. We booked 5 rooms, but one room was missed out during the process even though we received confirmation emails from the hotel. The room was only given to us when our group was heading out for the next activity. Another room was supposed to come with an additional bed, but was only given later during the night. Room Service ========== Our family rooms were big & spacious 👍🏼 but the extra bed (tent) came without pillows or blanket. So we requested for it. Once after check-in, but wasn’t given after we came back from dinner, & had to call room service a third time stating that we still haven’t received it for them to deliver it immediately. Father’s Day Dinner Buffet 🍽️🍽️🍽️🍽️🍽️🍽️🍽️🍽️🍽️ After checking out the previous night’s buffet dinner, the spread was amazing. We decided to go for it on Sunday, to find that it was a special menu - Father’s Day Special. They closed the usual counters, but focused & set up their poolside carts. Serving pizza, pasta & BBQ. It all sounded amazing, but I think they weren’t well prepared to handle the crowd. Especially the pizza counter, which I waited 40min as the firewood oven’s fire couldn’t heat up the pizza properly. There was also only one chef trying to cook the pasta for the long queue of customers. BBQ food was amazing, but similarly, because it could only prepare a limited quantity each time, it was able to serve the crowd. During the dinner, a staff (who seemed like the floor manager, or at least the event manager/IC) invited and explained to my husband about their BIG BITE CHALLENGE where participants will compete against each other to see who can finish their burgers fastest, where a RM300 prize would be given to the winner. When the event was about to start, seeing that he was trying hard to invite participants, my husband gladly responded to his invitation. In the end, there were only 3 participants & we started the challenge. He participated and won. [Challenge posters & prize in pics] At the end of my dinner, the event IC approached us with a “Consolation” prize of RM50. We asked why it was different from what their poster mentioned & he said due to the number of participants not having met their min quota, they will only give us the consolation prize… WHAT?! They just changed their rule however they like after the event was over. To make matters worse, after they invited my family to witness the competition, the restaurant staff cleared the food that we waited so long to get without asking us. 🤦🏻♂️ it’s really quite a joke ROOM NOISE LEVEL 🙉🙉🙉🙉🙉🙉🙉 Throughout the two nights the aircon compressor was really noisy. I attached a video of the sound it made throughout the day. I did so in the daytime as I couldn’t bring myself up in the middle of the night. During check-out, the staff was nice to ask me about my stay. I mentioned this issue & he waived off 50% of my group’s breakfast fee. It was a nice gesture that I fully appreciate. I didn’t have time to talk about the other experiences as we were rushing off. All in all, the hotel gave a great first impression. If the management was ready for the long weekend crowd, & the restaurant & events team were better prepared, I’m sure the guests would all have had a great time. Not sure what could be done about the loud generator though.

Booked a total of 4 rooms and managed to get all of us adjoining rooms which was very good as we have many children as well. Facilities wise is considered clean and comfortable, many food options and supermarket is just opposite of the hotel!! Definitely would go back again with my family :)

Check in was a breeze. Staff were all very polite. Room is spacious with a sofa that doubles up as a bed. Water pressure and breakfast was good. Love this hotel and definitely coming back again!!

The room is big and clean. We got connecting rooms and space is ample. Pillow too soft so we got extra pillows. Gym is small and basic. Near many eateries and mini marts, which is convenient since we didn't opt for hotel breakfast.

Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Parking of own car will cost RM5/night. There is groceries shop opposite hotel and it is very convenient.

Hotel staff are friendly and the service is good! There are shops and eateries located within walking distance from the hotel. Very accessible. The room is spacious with 2 queen size beds. Very cosy room! Shuttle bus service is free and good. Will recommend this hotel. :)

We checked in late and they still took about an hour just to give us the room. When they did finally give us the key to the room, there was actually luggages in the room meaning there was people already checked into that room. Told them this issue and their first response was "is it the staff's luggage?" Which still didn't make sense. As a reimbursement they gave us 100RM for the 3 of us which was totally not worth as we still had to wait 20 more mins for the new room. Please lock your luggages when you leave your room as you never know can come in. Such a wake up call. The photo was the one we took with the other tenants luggage(totally open).

Excellent service from start till we left. We arrived on the ferry and although we didn't book for transport, one was called by the ferry staff and within 30 minutes, we were shuttled to the hotel. We reached the hotel more than 3h before check in time but were given a room within the hour we arrived. How wonderful considering it was peak period. Checked out without any hassle and we were done within minutes. The staff were efficient and friendly, the hotel itself felt luxurious. The food was excellent too. Breakfast buffet had a large array of food and the fish served with chips, a dish on promotion for lunch was fresh and tasty. Our stay here was so comfortable and relaxing. On the Saturday night, there was even live music at the restaurant situated at the lobby. Another plus point, it is situated within a walking distance from the shops, eateries and mall. Such convenience made our stay even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, even those with young kids!

Breakfast is great. Staffs are friendly. My kids love the pool. Will come back again. :)

Great short staycay here to unwind after a busy city life. The kids had fun!

spacious room and friendly staff. parking need to be tap using touch n go or any credit card. can be waive upon tap out from the hotel counter. breakfast was good. comfortable stay and will definitely come back again. nearby walking distance plenty of food and hypermarket. great location.
