Rainbow Paradise Beach Resort by LWE

First time stay at this hotel at the middle of Tanjung Bunga beach Penang Island. My sincere review overall hotel just okay for me. It’s old fashion hotel and no WiFi provided have to use own hotspot. Management office got two different company and confused and different price the agent very rude. Sorry 😔

Worst hotel experience I’ve had. It wasn’t even booked directly with Rainbow Paradise Beach Resort but through a third party. The room was in terrible condition. Very dirty overall, poorly built bathroom, faulty water tap, and an unclean toilet. The curtains had multiple wet stains, and even the bedsheets didn’t feel clean. The biggest issue was the room door. It couldn’t be locked. I only noticed it before heading out for dinner, which could have been a serious risk to my belongings. After they “fixed” it, the key stopped working completely. When I informed management, their response was basically to stay in for the night and check out the next morning. That’s completely unacceptable. What if I needed to go out in the middle of the night? I would have no way to secure my room, and no staff available to help. Very poor service overall. Definitely not worth the stay. Save your money. On top of that, the deposit is an unreasonable 200 MYR.

Hotel average. Not satisfied with the difference in check in counter&the deposit is quite high for average hotel. Receipts for deposit provided only by request. The pressure for toilet bidet is too slow. Room is clean & spacious however the pillow is too light&causing a headache in the morning. Charge for parking is too high & unacceptable for guest shoud be waive.

Hotel best okay bilik best. Depo rm 200 okay tengah tunggu refund. Parking??? satu malam kena caj 30 .beragakla X Smpai 24 jam duduk nk kena 30 . Kita dah bayar harga bilik takkan parking pun nk bayar . management buat kerja MCM mana. Husband saya pula oku..tunggu jap.mmg xpuas hatii. Aku X kisah management mana tapi ubah la.nah.viral Ka X nk vral

This place does not provide free parking, and all the staff are not friendly towards customers.

I am extremely unhappy with the cleanliness of this hotel. The room had visible dirt, stained bedsheets, and an unpleasant smell. The bathroom was not cleaned at all. I informed the front desk, but no action was taken even after several hours. Poor hygiene and poor service.

I just stayed for one night. Which was enough for me. Be aware this is not part of the official Rainbow Resort Hotel. Upon seeing my confirmation, the receptionist told me my room was an Airbnb. The building is a hotel as well private rooms that are rented out. The room itself was very spacious, 70 sqm with one bedroom and a living space. It had obviously been repainted recently (it smelt a fresh paint) so the walls were clean. Air conditioning and basic amenities were provided. The building itself, has seen a lot of wear and tear. If you’re on a budget and want a spacious room it will meet your needs. For the price I think it’s quite reasonable if you’re there for a short stay. The hotel is next to a beach, and a swimming pool downstairs. There a few restaurants across the road.
