The owner is very welcoming, and the location is excellent. I always stay here the night before an early flight, and I'll definitely book again next time. It's so close to the airport, so there's no rush at all.

My first time staying in a backpackers' hostel, and the environment was much better than I expected. The shower area provided clean towels, separated from the used ones, and there was a hairdryer, washing machine, and dryer (NT$100 per wash, NT$100 per dry), as well as shower gel and shampoo. The hallway had very detailed instruction posters, and there were coffee and tea bags under the water dispenser. Of course, mugs were also separated into clean and dirty ones, so I thought it was very hygienic. The bed was also super soft, though the bed curtain wasn't very light-blocking. When I was still awake in the common area at 5 AM, the owner even worried if I couldn't sleep because of the environment. I told him I was just jet-lagged, and then he told me to sleep until I woke up naturally and not rush to check out. I felt so touched 🥹. All in all, it's a very reassuring hostel. I fell in love with Taiwan on the first day.

It was about a 10-minute taxi ride from the airport. If you hail one of the yellow taxis outside, it should cost around 300 NTD. The shared bathrooms and toilets are kept exceptionally clean. Having a washing machine available was a great help, and it completes a cycle in about 15 minutes. To get to the city center from here, you'll need cash or an EasyCard for the bus, so I recommend buying one upon arrival at Taipei Airport.
