Best Pet friendly Hotels in Taranto

Don’t get me wrong the rooms are nice but the place has bars in front of its windows. We also were asked not to open the windows due to the airconditioning. In our room the mini fridge was happily buzzing but didn’t cool anything. The shower was amazing and the bed was good. Also If you can’t find the TV check the mirror 😜 On top of the hotel is the pool with bar and a restaurant. We were there 2 days and both days there was a party of none guests with a dj. We were “allowed” to sit there as paying guests how nice of them right. Last day we left early so we got breakfast at 7:35 as it only starts at 7 am and they managed to have cold sunny side up eggs, cold bacon and cold sausages which is surprising as it was the only thing that needed to be warm in the otherwise splendid selection of foods ( yes the pancakes are cold too) with loads of fruit great honey and cakes. All this stuff isn’t more of a missed opportunity then anything else for an otherwise great hotel. Just don’t get run over trying to leave with your car at the front gate :-)

I'm almost Tarantino, I've been here at least twice a year from 1998 to today, I realize that standards have fallen from the 1990s, but here it is overdrived. The rooms are aestheticly bad, old and uncomfortable. You don't feel a little cocktailed by entering one of them, among other things they define ”superor” rooms with a refrigerator (watch) and a ”unique” matrimonial mattress. The breakfast is sad and hospitalized, especially because it is made of discount stones and a NUMERO coffee. It's a box, the minimum flexibility of everything, the keys must always be left at reception, don't raise your voice, if someone comes to you, they must leave the document and cannot stay too much in the room (this already before Covid). It is sorry for the staff, who do his duty and sometimes is also kind, but they also seem to be undergoing a bad management and move like robots, fearing to be wrong and to bear account of any small decision. The guilt of who is but not who manages it, among other things, when I found a more prominent employee than others, the same disappeared in a few months, but they pay them at least? Or do they prefer to keep only those who are able to claim the ”Caserma” without wanting to grow and make the structure grow? I'm sorry to say that, but would it be better if it was detected by a Chain more than to continue like that ...

The hotel was undergoing a lot of upgrading and we were placed into the older half of the hotel. The whole hotel is being brought up to modern standards and when finished will be fantastic. Unfortunately we booked a long time before the hotel was taken over and subsequently were disappointed with the rooms. However the management not only apologised they refunded the costs of our rooms. The staff at the reception and in the dining room were exceptional (i regret that I cannot remember the names of the gentlemen but hopefully they will recognise themselves). Basically if the upgrades are up to the same standard as the renovated part and the exceptional staff, the hotel will be well worth your visit.

Our second visit to this excellent friendly, comfortable Hotel. It is very close (walking distance) to the Railway Station. We chose a sea view room with balcony. The room was spotlessly clean. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and polite both at Reception and in the Breakfast Room. The Breakfast was good and plentiful. Would Highly recommend and will visit again when visiting Taranto.

Excellent service by Alessandra and Fabio. We loved the spacious room facing the square and the bridge towards the train station. Everything was clean and functional. The building has been recently restored and converted to a hotel. We were told the whole neighborhood is undergoing substantial restoration in view of an international sporting event called ”Giochi del Mediterraneo 2026”, for which the region secured government funding, so the area - which has its sore sights - is being completely revamped. We were there in the summer 2024.

Unfortunately, I am forced to give a medium-sized judgement for the services that the structure offers : I stayed x 3 nights , true it is that the room delivers it at 16:00 but if you arrive before you can't enjoy the pool, The room is also to leave it by 11:00 but you can't continue to enjoy the same pool. ... Now tell me, I who stayed from 12 to 15 August how do I leave the pool at 11:00 a.m., the day of the feragost? After paying € 1200 x 3 nights, without lunch and the evening of the 14 I paid it apart! € 80 per person, buffet dinner without even a drink! The structure is old but has so much comfort, nn is bad ...but these disservices make me give a medium-soily judgement! Peccato!

It is a 4-star hotel, located in the desolate historic center of Taranto. Desolate because it is all abandoned, an open house every 10 !! The hotel is beautiful, and the staff is very kind, everyone !! Breakfast, having only 14 rooms in the hotel, it is clear that it cannot be made of only fresh ingredients, such as just made cakes, etc, in fact, besides the cornets, all the rest are brandy merendys, Even fruit juice is in single-dose version !!! What is to say, a applause to the staff, sin for almost complete abandonment of the place.
