Hotel Sonar Bangla Tarapith

The property provides a great stay with delicious food and at the same very well behaved staffs also. Purna chandra the restaurant staff was very polite and helpful. We stayed here for one night and feels a homely atmosphere which was an extra achievement for me

Have been staying at the Sonar Bangla chain of hotels and resorts for the last fifteen odd years as our first choice at our destination where they exist. The experience has always been par excellent. Looking forward to visiting their latest jewel at Mayapur.

This was our second stay at the Hotel .We had booked a Premium Room and the experience was excellent. The room was very spacious with a big king side bed. The room has beautiful furniture and has a big balcony overlooking the swimming pool. The place has a big,beautiful and colourful garden filled with all seasonal blooms .Children will enjoy their stay as they can run around freely. Room service was very good. Cleanliness of the room and the rest room was excellent . The staff both at the restaurant and at the reception were very professional, helpful and courteous. Food was really delicious we had all the meals there . And above all Tara-pith Temple is just a 4 minutes walk from the Hotel. I would recommend everyone to stay in this hotel and I can guarantee the experience will be great.

Overall atmosphere of the hotel was very good.It is the best hotel in tarapith.The fare should be reduced to a reasonable fare.The maintenance is good and staffs are very polite and helpful.Very good experience.

Rooms are small (14X10) , not neatly organized with poor quality wardrobs. Couple of nights can be spent. Washroom is clean. BUT THERE IS A SINGLE PANEL VENTILATION WINDOW IN WASHROMM, THAT CANNOT BE CLOSED AND GIVING A FREEWAY FOR THOUSANDS OF MOSQUITOS. The restaurant and food quality is good . Staff are also polite and well behaved.

This is a really good hotel and their ***agement staff was pretty great as well. The premium rooms were clean. The food at the restaurant was really good too. The hotel is close to the Tarapith temple.

The experience of staying at the hotel was excellent. The hotel has all the amenities. Special shoutout to the kitchen and restaurant staff as they went over and above their assigned duties to cater to our customisation requests to the available menu options. Very helpful staff overall.

We had issues with our room. However, the operations ***ager Mr. Achinta Debnath turned it into an above average experience when he came to know of it. People like him makes the difference to the hotel. Thanks to him.
