The hygiene is very average, the floor in the living room is full of sand. The room only has a window air conditioner in the living room, and the bedroom window sill keeps leaking air. I spent a lot of effort to close it, and then the air leaked still. I was woken up by the cold at night.

Service is excellent but the hotel is a bit old and need renovation. Close to everything ( beach, restaurants and shops).

An absolute health hazard. Carpets dirty and stained. Lounge suite dirty and stained. Chairs rusted. Bathroom fan hasnt been cleaned for years, Shower curtain mouldy. Blinds absolutely filthy. Ceiling bubbled and peeling in patches, cobwebs, stove rusty so cannot be used TV missing box so cannot connect. Needs lots of renovations.

This accomodation is very outdated and requires an upgrade. We stayed in the loft style family unit, the TV’s did not work, the air conditioning did not work (although that was rectified), the toilet seat was not attached properly and there were missing blinds. The unit had a musky smell and was unclean, the couch and carpet were stained, oven was dirty, sand all over the floor, bathroom sink has stains and almost all surfaces were dusty. The pool area was uninviting and unkept with overgrown grass and ****s. A couple of the staff were very helpful however, one of the staff members were very rude to my daughter regarding parking. The website for this accommodation shows photos that are outdated and false, I would not recommend this accomodation to anyone.

This place was absolutely disgusting. I felt dirty just being there. I stayed two nights last week for work and couldn't wait to get out of there. As you can see from the photo the carpet is disgusting. The cupboard in the bedroom was missing a door and I wish I brought thongs. I had to ask for towels when I went to my room. I will never stay there again.

Not 1/5 but maybe 2/5, this place will do nicely for a night passing through. The rooms are well designed and must have once been top notch, but a severe lack of maintenence is evident. Shabby, a bit grubby in the corners, scant kitchen equipment (bizarrely a sauce pan plus lid for a smaller saucepan), but comfy bed, functional AC and other equipment. So, all and all, could be worse.

On arrival I wasn’t expecting 4 /5 star service as it is a budget lodge yes it is need of repairs were a few safety issues stair railing extremely loose holes inside wardrobes fly screens holes and cockroaches double bed mattress was fine but other singles you could feel the springs but value wise for one night a 2 bedroom unit at $175 for 4 Adults But the maintenance man /manager was the rudest most unprofessional person I have come across at any place I have stayed while traveling around Australia To my dismay his attitude became aggressive extremely quickly nearly to the point of calling the police Sadly I never checked the reviews as booked through a booking agency On there recommendation Only to find my family we’re not the first to experience his behaviour Would not recommend this lodge or ever return while under the same manger

Apartment was clean, but dated. Badly in need of an upgrade. No bench in the kitchenette for food prep; stove is old and hot plates are rusty looking. There is also rust in the joins. No exhaust fan in the bathroom and only one towel rail (apartment can sleep up to 5, but is only set up for two). There is nothing to put your clothes on in the bedroom (beds were very comfortable though) and only one small bedside cabinet to put all your bits and pieces on.

We were pleasantly surprised with this accommodation. From the outside it didn't look great and even though dated and shabby it was immaculately clean and well-appointed with super comfortable beds. The man in charge was friendly, polite and helpful.
