We had a great time in the calm of the palm grove, despite small water problems, the staff found solutions quickly. The evening meal was excellent, the beef tagine super good. The welcome was super friendly and always with a smile. I recommend this accommodation, the rooms are simple but well decorated.

Bad experience, in every way, accommodation, breakfast... So poorly insulated (windows, doors with spaces that let air and noise in) that we had to sleep with reversible air conditioning, great for economy, 7 a.m. wake up because of the noise of passing staff laughing. The animals are crowded together. The owner is hateful, we made our one night stay the worst night I've had in 17 years in Morocco. Despite everything, I paid 238 euros to shorten my stay. Mr. Owner, I do not want your explanations, you are bad.

Photos which unfortunately do not reflect reality... The photos on the sites are really improved! In short, we had booked 4 nights at the end of December with family, and what a disappoin**ent. I would like to point out that we know Morocco well and have stayed in various types of accommodation, riads, hotels, Airbnb, and we have never been disappointed, especially since the other accommodations were less expensive than this ecolodge, but hey, we said to ourselves “we’re going to have fun” at 115 euros per night. The Berber house that we had reserved did not live up to our expectations, poorly maintained furniture, 3 chairs for 4 people, and we barely dared to sit there for fear of falling. Very basic bathroom, no shelf or small piece of furniture to put things on, no toilet paper, and having hot water is the mission... We asked someone twice to very kind who came to give us hot water because it became freezing again very quickly, so after a while we no longer even dare go and disturb them every 2 minutes in the hope of being able to wash ourselves completely. Soap was provided but it must have been done by several families before us. We were cold, very cold at night, so in December the nights are very cold in Morocco, we know it, we're used to it, but there, the reversible air conditioning which heated us was not able to warm the room sufficiently, especially since the front door of the house has holes the size of a 1 euro coin, and holes of a centimeter at the bottom, which lets in the freezing air, in short, finally not very eco-friendly this ecolodge... I wouldn't go into more detail than that and yet I would have something to say, come on, one positive point, the presence of animals, goats and peacocks, nice with the children... The meal evening, twice as expensive as in any other restaurant in Ouarzazate, it was good, and the staff is super helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fine, except that everything was cold, the pancakes etc... After a night spent, and this disappoin**ent, we preferred to leave, that's when we met the owner of the place, who made us pay the entire stay, i.e. the 4 nights, we expressed our disappoin**ent to him but he insisted that we pay the full amount, he nevertheless made us a commercial gesture of 30%, but on a price which I repeat is exorbitant considering the service!! In short, we just wanted to go somewhere else, so we paid this gentleman, who had even tried to make us pay for an extra night, because we had wanted to arrive a day earlier, I had called him to ask him if it was possible he was supposed to call me back to confirm but I never got his call, I thought it was complete. In fact he told us that he had called me back and that we had to come a day earlier, that we had spoken about it on the phone, which is false. He has you

The place is very beautiful and peaceful. The Ecolodge offers several types of accommodation ranging from Berber tents (more basic for an authentic experience :-), to spacious suites. We particularly liked the African bungalow. The Ecolodge has been carefully designed and the rooms are furnished according to a certain cultural authenticity. The rooms have air conditioning and heating. The shower is nice. We appreciated the ecological concept of the place. The exteriors are also very pleasant with a beautiful swimming pool. The staff is very friendly, responsive and very helpful. In summary, a pearl, away from Ouarzazate, for travelers looking for authenticity. We just wish we could have stayed longer and hope to have the opportunity to come back.

Stayed here to re-charge after a trekking tour. Arrived without a reservation and manager made us a "very special half-board all-in offer" for our two nights stay. Ecolodge LP located in a quiet side street amidst palm trees and fields. Nice set-up - mix between Tents and more comfortable Lodges. Food was good. Breakfast tasty and plenty. Dinners delicious - choice of menu had to be communicated late afternoon. Staff unfortunately a bit less committed than experienced elsewhere during our trip. We never found out what the "Eco"in Ecolodge was based on. Experience upon check-out was not really pleasant: The final price charged was in excess of the "special offer" and almost negated all "savings". Based on the "special offer" our check-in was never registered and our passports were not requested, which is a bit odd when one is asked to pay a tourist levy for an unregistered stay. The criticism here is related to the fact that the original agreement did not constitute an obligation on the part of the management and appeared to allow them to by-pass local regulations - hence would recommend bookings via the usual platforms to avoid surprises.

A beautifully located Oasis just outside Quarzazate town. The staff are amazing and can't do enough for you. That includes the management, restaurant staff and cleaning ladies- all so happy and friendly. My 12 year old son loved it ! Thank you Jaward and Wisam you are incredible people. Are thoughts and prayers are with you and the people of Morocco after this devastating earthquake. Rose and Nihad

Absolutely perfect from start to finish. Absolutely the best hotel I have EVER stayed in anywhere in the world! The property itself is stunning and the maintenance and cleaning is amazing. Our room was a traditional hut and was so well equipped, clean and cold in the day and warm at night - perfect! Daily housekeeping was incredible, they fully cleaned and changed all bedding and towels and even tidied up our clothes and mess we had left. The property and area are SUPER SUPER safe, we left our bikes unlocked, our laptops out and unattended and no one even looked at them let alone touched them. This hotel staff are the absolute best, nothing was too much trouble. The owner even offered to go to the shop for us to buy us a SIM card. The service at dinner was so attentive and we felt so genuinely cared for and valued. They even remembered our names and room number so everyone we ordered anything they just knew where to charge it. The hotel room price is so so reasonable for what you get and the food and drink is so cheap but so fresh and delicious , all hand made daily. The property is an absolute dream with a gorgeous pool, hammocks , gardens, vegetables , cats, peacocks, donkeys. Honestly such an oasis and well worth it. The airport is close and there are many lovely nature spots near by and the bikes from the hotel are free. Alternatively the hotel can arrange any kind of trip you want at very reasonable prices. The owner of this hotel was so nice and he clearly knows his business very well and is doing everything totally right! I wish him and his team all the success and thank them from my heart for giving us such an amazing experience and memories we will treasure for a lifetime!

A true oasis of peace and beauty. Everything is perfectly taken care of respecting the local ecosystem and typical architecture. The staff is super efficient, reserved and uniquely available towards all guests' needs. The pool is chlorine-free, the peacocks keep you company and the rooms are fresh and spacious, immersed in a lush garden. The breakfast is super abundant and very good. Outside there is also covered parking for the car.
