Staff was very helpful, shared a sweatshirt and a corkscrew for our stay. Location is a bit isolated, and the room facilities were not quite as nice as we expected for the price.

Consistently good experience at the Tarrytown. One request for consideration: in the past, offering complimentary coffee in the lobby was a welcome sight when we stayed. It seems like that was moved to the Biddle Mansion (colocated with breakfast) which is not as convenient for some who may need to get away quickly on checkout morning.

My husband and I visited this historic Hudson Valley hotel on memorial day weekend. What a lovely experience. We stayed in the King Mansion. Our room was right next door to their resident ghosts room. SO charming and the views were amazing. It was hot yesterday but after a cooling shower in a lovely bath room we where ready for dinner. We were recommended a lively restaurant in the near by town of Irvington, close and affordable. The front desk people where so accommodating! We had spent the day at the pool. So cool and clean and relaxing. They had corn hole, a large chessboard and tenga blocks for those who wanted to leave the pool. We did not. It was the best first day in our three day vacation.

We loved strolling through the picturesque grounds, enjoying the beautifully manicured gardens and stunning Hudson River views. The staff's warm hospitality added to our wonderful experience, always ready to assist with a smile. Dinner at the estate's restaurant was a highlight, with delicious dishes and a romantic ambiance. The Tarrytown House is a truly beautiful location with a lot of character and charm. We went in the winter so did not get to appreciate the grounds although it was very pretty with a little snow on the ground. the rooms lacked a little luster, they seemed dated and a little worn. The indoor pool and sauna were sub par. We enjoyed the main restaurant for a few drinks, wandered into the main castle like building but was not sure if we could enjoy the area as it appeared to be closed. The Cellar bar was closed so could not appreciate that area. We did Uber into town for dinner and drinks which was nice. But since it was winter all of the surrounding attractions like lyndhurst, Kyukut and Sunnyside were closed for the season... so we may try again in the spring.

Had a really nice overnight stay coming from the city. One thing I wish they had was more snack/food options. The room we stayed in was very clean and a good size. Goosefeather was incredible - the restaurant connected to the property!

Very conveniently located near Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow with quick drives to the downtown of both where a lot of dining and shopping options were located. The facility itself could use some updating and was not the cleanest it could have been- this is predominately referring to the pool and the carpets in the common spaces. It should be noted that the property itself has a lot of stairs--not sure if there is a part that is more disability friendly.
We enjoyed our stay and the location was perfect for a long weekend without kids.
