Hineni Hotel Tarutung

I cannot believe the good reviews. Our room was so bad we asked to move. The bathroom smell was horrible. The door on thecinside was covered in old mould and the toilet was filthy. The room looked like it was only ever swept; never mopped. The sheets were old and stained and the quilt had no cover (so, the same as unchanged sheets). The noise from what I suspect was the water pump was constant and loud. Our new room was nearly as bad; but without the smell of mould. We cleaned the toilet with baby wipes quite a few times before we would use it. The bathtub had a good month of dust/dirt and was obviously never cleaned. The corners of the bathroom and floor drain were also filthy ... clearly never mopped and poorly swept. The wood at the base of the door was rotten and falling apart. I took photos as proof ... sadly no photos of the first room ... but given that we moved it was obviously worse. Do not stay at this hotel ... the good reviews are so wrong. This is the only bad review I have ever given a hotel, so I do not complaim about hotels as a habit.
